Feeling so incredibly blessed by these sweet friends who showered us and baby Bradley with love tonight! It blows me away at the community and life long friends we’ve made here in such a short amount of time and we are both overwhelmed with thankfulness that our boy is already so loved. Also WHO has friends who can casually throw together flower arrangements like this?! 😂 @marylindseyeddy it’s not real life.
Also also there are three women in this group pic who are 9 months pregnant 😬😁😂

The first time I purchased a #surfboard was only 2 years ago. The first time I put a competitors jersey on was August ‘17. On Sunday I took 3rd place which put me at 4th overall in the season for my division. I’m elated at how far I’ve come and #blessed with this result!
_____________
It took me a while to post this because I was reflecting on the last 2 seasons. It’s crazy to think back on how much my #surfing has developed up to this point. Even the frustration I had partway through this season and the #insecurities I’ve had to push past to get to this point. So take from my experience & be encouraged: keep #persisting when things suck & progress seems halted. There is so much to be said about #preparation and #consistency. The Long-term results are far sweeter than the immediate.
__________
I am still in awe of how many people poured into me and left their mark of encouragement on my #development.
@ricktak11 - getting me involved and helping my development as a surfer
@foundationfitsc - @bossweirdo_ry is the lowest-key big deal you’ll ever meet. Sometimes I wonder why he spends time on me but I’m eternally grateful that he’s not just a physical trainer but a mental #coach and friend.
@newtonslawoffitnessclub & @iamtc12 -for the push to keep striving for more and for keeping me in shape when I’m not home
Mom - for giving up Mother’s Day weekend to be the best #support I could ask for
Above all else, it was #God who placed in me a #competitive spirit, and an insatiable drive to progress and to never quit the battle of constant improvement. It’s for His glory that I strive to do no less than the best I am capable of. So if you take nothing else away from this: I am who I am because of how God has made me and its His glory to which all accolades belong.
On to #nationals!!

My time at Newton’s has been incredible. When I first joined eighteen months ago I was a lost fitness soul. Historically, when I would go to a gym, I’d do a couple exercises with no idea what I was doing, get bored and inevitably leave (and not ever go back). But that has all changed when a friend introduced me to Newton’s. With a set workout for each class and an incredible client base that ranges from complete first timers to seasoned veterans – these classes are perfect for everyone. And there is no possibility of ever getting bored – in fact since I have joined we have not once done the same workout twice. How about results? I’m now 19 pounds lighter and just completed the Spartan Trifecta this summer. Considering Spartan? If so, check out Newton’s. The preparation we do makes the race day obstacles a breeze. Thank you to the Newton team for changing my life! @spartanrace #bestgyminnapa #nlfc
