Day 02 - The Significant Beginning Webinar.

Day two of The Significant Beginning Webinar was one of those sessions that gently but firmly tells you the truth, and it was handled by a renowned trainer Yunus Mutiu Olamide.

We had an honest conversation around Competency as Currency, and the reminder was clear: degrees may open doors, but competence is what keeps them open.

Some key takeaways that stayed with us:
✨ It’s not just about what you know, but what you can actually do with what you know.
✨ Academic excellence is important, but it’s only the starting point.
✨ Skills... technical, transferable, and digital are the real currency in today’s career space.
✨ Your CV and LinkedIn aren’t just documents; they’re tools to show impact.
✨ And, one call to action that really stuck with us was a tweet he mentioned "You are not Wizkid, be loud about your hustle!!!"

The session challenged us to stop chasing qualifications alone and start building competence that speaks for us.
Growth is intentional. Relevance is intentional. A significant career is built, not assumed.

Thursday, September 4th, 2025. The Ambassadors Summit @ambassadorssummit THEMED: Strategic Leadership For Turning Challenges Into Opportunities (SURGE)

One of these days as someone who's working against his ANTI-VISION.
Lagos traffic did its thing again. I arrived late to the Ambassadors Summit, and honestly, I almost got discouraged, I missed parts I had looked forward to. But I made myself a promise: if I can’t catch it all, I’ll make the most of what’s left.

And I did.

Here are a few gems I took home that day:

✨ We are not waiting for tomorrow, tomorrow is waiting for us.
✨ Don’t just dream of becoming someone. Dream because you are already someone.
✨ A rat in Nigeria is a rat anywhere… and so is a lion. So, don't just aim to leave the country without having something to show for.
✨ Integrity is the new currency. Creating value is the surest path out of poverty.
✨ Pay now and play later… or play now and pay later.
✨ AI is not here to replace you, it’s here to scale you. Don’t compete with it.

I got back home at 9:30 PM, after battling the same traffic on my way back. Exhausting? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely.

So, sometimes the best lessons don’t come from perfect plans, but from how we choose to make the most of imperfect days.

*MEET THE TECHTITAN OF THE DAY* 💥❤️

Introducing Yunuz, our star TECHTITAN student, fondly nicknamed Sleek! 🌟 A true scholar per excellence, He's not just our typical scholar; Yunuz is a true academic gem, always there for all TECHTITANS, organizing tutorials that benefit us all.

But Sleek is not all about books; he's a fantastic tutor and a front-end developer, turning codes into magic.

Now, here's the twist – Sleek isn't just brains; he's the heart of laughter with a friendly spirit. His friendly nature, combined with a remarkable gift of gab, makes him the heart of our department. Yunuz is not just loved; he's adored by all.

And, as he often says, "every cloud has a silver lining," Yunuz brings that silver lining into our lives every day and brings sunshine and smiles wherever he goes.

```Congratulations, Sleek! 🎉🤝❤️💡 The future is bright.```
