POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

For International Women’s Day, we flipped the theme “Give to Gain.”

We asked our colleagues at Nigeria Info:
What has a woman given you that made you gain?

From wisdom and support to opportunities and love their answers say it all. 💜

Now we want to hear from you:
👇 What has a woman given you that helped you gain in life? Tell us in the comments.

Bias Exists. Women Rise Anyway. 💜✨

This #WomensHistoryMonth, we were privileged to sit with Zita Ulu @iamzeetah—the Group Head, HR (Cool FM, Wazobia FM & Nigeria Info FM) as she highlighted the realities of workplace bias through the lens of an HR Leader working in a society where women in executive roles are underestimated, questioned, and sometimes even disregarded.

We salute the young Nigerian women who despite societal challenges, keep showing up with resilience, competence, and courage continue to #AccelerateAction and break barriers.

Let’s keep the conversation going and work towards a world where talent—not bias—shapes opportunities.

Some years ago, as an early career professional, I had a fantastic opportunity to attend an Employability Development Program which really shaped my person and gave me the needed resources to excel in my career.

Now, I work with different generations of people and strongly believe that young people need to take part in value-adding finishing programs that prepare them for the world of work, in several aspects especially areas lacking in most university curricula.

I am so excited to give back to my community by joining other seasoned individuals to facilitate “Positioning for Career Success” under the theme: Navigating the transition from School to Work 💼

I strongly encourage early career professionals, final year students and university graduates to register and attend this event happening on the 9th of August 2023 by 5pm (WAT).

Please share this post to someone who needs it!
