This is THE GUESS WHO

I am so grateful and humbled to be a part of this AMAZING team!

Everyone pictured here (and many more of us behind the scenes) shares an equal part in the making of the “Takin’ It Back Tour” 2026.

Each of us gave 100% of our hearts & souls, our time, our talent and our dedication to honor the music and the legacy of @burtoncummings & @randybachman as @theguesswho

Every show was better than the next. Nothing could stop us. Whether busses were breaking down in the middle of nowhere, technical difficulties (which were always handled by this amazing crew) or even mother nature herself, we walked on that stage every night and gave it everything we got and never missed a show!

We all got along, had many laughs, many meals, baseball games & crazy hangs. We made lots of memories together.

Most of all, there was RESPECT! For our jobs, for each other, and for Rock n Roll! The music was always first and that’s what brought us all together!

And of course, THE FANS! Thank you all for coming out night after night. Singing along, dancing and cheering with us. This was all for you!

I said it before. Music is healing and we are the healers. That is our gift to you.

Until next time…

Just when you thought you’d seen the last tour recap post from The Barr Brothers, we hit you with another. At the risk of beating a dead road case, we want to say one more time how grateful we are to have had this experience. After 3 decades of playing music together, we can still learn new things, have new experiences, and make new friends out there. Thanks to @mumfordandsons for bringing us along!

“Silver Lining” is out now!! ☁️ so proud of this little three chord wonder!! This has been my favourite song to play live for a while and capturing it on tape has been a long but worthwhile journey🕊️

We spent a dream day at @catherinenorthstudios last year tracking this one off the floor with @willcrann and @emmawhale_music at the helm. Tracked vocals with @simonlarochette shepherding me through as always and after some pedal steel magic courtesy of @mattkelly250 and keys sorcery from @novakate and some secret varispeed magic the single was born 🕯️

STREAM IT/SHARE IT/LOVE IT/HATE IT/LEMME KNOW THANKS 🎶

My new single “Silver Lining” is out today!!! ☁️

This one’s about what happens when you cultivate negativity- it becomes the lens through which you see everything. Like Tom Waits said, “don’t plant your bad days. They grow into weeks. The weeks grow into months. Before you know it, you got yourself a bad year.” You heard the man. Written in the bad bad not so good days of the pandemic, I was huddled in a dark place and I’m glad some folks helped me see a way out.

Produced & mixed by @simonlarochette
Engineered & recorded at @catherinenorthstudios by @willcrann
Mastered by @kristianmontano

FEATURING:
Guitars: @jaspercsmith
Bass: @brentlwebb
Drums: @ianborak
Keys: @novakate
Pedal Steel: @mattkelly250
BGs: @jessipidgey

With a big helping hand from @smallfrymusicco 🤙

There are some venues that just have a magical feel. Perhaps as a result of the history, their acoustics or the amount of grit on the walls , but what a treat to make art in one that holds court from all three. It was a true privilege to be on this one, with this group of weirdos. So Rad!! Thanks to @officialthewho for having us.
