While Pride Month this year was a bit more low-key for me, I was able to kick off the celebration with some amazing people in one of the most queer friendly cities in Texas 🏳️‍🌈❤️🏳️‍⚧️

There’s a dreamy side of San Antonio that LGBTQ+ travelers shouldn’t overlook.

Our latest GayCities story follows a Texas getaway with European-style charm, queer surprises, and plenty of reasons to give the city a closer look.

Our February pick for The Queerty Book Club is Attention Seeker: A Neurodivergent Comedian's Guide to Thriving with ADHD by Darcy Michael—and it’s one we’re genuinely curious to read together.

Research highlighted by Psychology Today suggests that while 15–20 percent of the population is neurodivergent and around 7–8 percent identifies as LGBTQ+, as many as 30–70 percent of neurodivergent people are also part of the LGBTQ+ community.

This book sits right at that intersection, offering a queer, humorous, lived-in perspective on ADHD, creativity, relationships, work, and what it means to navigate the world with a brain that doesn’t always move in straight lines.

If this feels like a conversation you want to be part of, we’d love to read it together. Learn more about joining the February Queerty Book Club at the link in our bio.
