The Shadowbox Global team is honored to have announced today that we will be operating the iconic Kaufman Astoria Studios in New York City, providing the same level of premium service in New York that clients can expect from Shadowbox across the world.

Alongside the wonderful graphic artist @ianhjohnston, Shadowbox updated and recreated one of the original announcement graphics from the studio’s reopening and re-naming in 1982, four years after it was designated a national historic district and added to the National Register of Historic Places.

The team has an enormous amount of reverence for the legacy of Kaufman Astoria and the decades of contributions that so many incredible artists, crews, vendors, and staff have made over its history. We are thrilled to contribute to this next chapter of the KAS story, and look forward to providing seamless production experiences for the projects onsite.

We are in a season of WEDDINGS and let me tell you - I’m drunk off love, friendship, pretty views, and the Aperol that now runs permanently through my veins.

In all seriousness, this flurry of all our besties getting married will prob go down as the happiest, most beautiful, love-y season of my entire life and I’m trying to soak it all in and not take one Aperol spritz or wedding dance floor moment for granted. 🤍
