I'm a very lucky girl right now! I've been chosen to be on the readalong and tour of The Mistletoe Wedding Murders by the late Denzil Meyrick with @instabooktours and I'm absolutely honoured to have been selected. I've absolutely loved this fun series and I'm so glad his final book has been released.

BLURB:
This Christmas, even the clergy can't be trusted...

It’s Christmas Day 1954 and Frank Grasby’s father is getting married at Rowantree Hall. To make matters worse, Frank is best man.

Various clergymen and Frank’s boss, Superintendent Arthur Juggers gather for the celebration. Guests line the chapel as the bride glides down the aisle. The blizzard whirls outside, cutting them off from the rest of the world as Reverend Welling steps into the pulpit. He starts to speak and stutters – then falls. The horrified guests rush to his side, but Welling is already dead. Poisoned by mistletoe.

As Juggers and Grasby investigate, they discover dark secrets in this hallowed hall. Time is running out to save the wedding. Where do you turn for help, when even the clergy can’t be trusted?

A Very French Corpse
By @ianmooreauthor

Book Review

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I thoroughly enjoyed this third instalment of the Juge Lombard series from Ian. This series is definitely maturing nicely.

Much darker, and more serious, than the Follet Valley series, but still equally captivating. The series has been described as the French Morse, and you can really see why – even down to the cryptic crosswords.

If you love a police procedural but want something a little bit different, I would say this is for you. Well plotted and paced, an intriguing whodunnit that is so cleverly written!

Writer and comedian Ian Moore is my guest on @toasterpod and it’s an absolute belter of an episode telling, via his online shopping history, some serious home (delivery) truths. Just don’t listen if you get upset by chickens being thrown in ditches.

Out now!

Vamos conversar! 👇

Wonderful to meet Ian Moore after his informative, funny and absorbing talk at the Agatha Christie 2026 Festival. Thank you for purchasing my art work inspired and created throughout your one hour session.

I'm looking forward to reading your books and learning more about the wonderful characters that were introduced by Ian, especially the Rival BandB couple.

The WOTS post in is in! This week we have postcards from Canada and Spain.

Stuart and Jane have been exploring Canada, including a trip to Niagara Falls. Whilst jet setting they've squeezed in reading two of our faves, @radiomukhers and @ianmooreauthor.

Sue had a fabulous time in Spain with her family, reading Hello Beautiful and Wild Dark Shore whilst relaxing on a sun lounger.
