So- speaking in draft here...

Thank you @phantomprojects for giving me the gift of creating and performing with such incredible artists at @lamiradatheatre ! This opportunity challenged, stretched, and pushed me to take new steps in writing, collaborating, editing, dancing, singing, and acting.

Our final product (but certainly not our first)- a show that spoke to finding hope through childlike wonder. From Parasocial relationships with Timothy Chalamet- to nostalgic childhood stuffed-animal squabbles- to fighting for foster children: we sought to inspire joy. Our youth is not our weakness, but rather our strength.

Thank you to everyone who inspired the stories we told, and thank you to my YAP cast for encouraging and improving my voice. I am forever grateful to all of you.

It’s finally time to share one of the most incredible projects I’ve had the honor to be apart of. The young artist project was a two week speed run of writing, directing, producing, staging, and performing a show at the 1300 seat La Mirada Theatre out in California.

I could not have asked for a better group to have taken on this challenge with. In the end, we came out with something truly special and I got to perform with some unfathomably talented artists who I now get to call friends. Truly honoured to have been a part of all of this and I will be forever grateful. A special thank you to @goodsteveningtoyou and @thephantomprojectstheatre for putting on this project and bringing me into the chaos! Y’all took a chance on me and for that I’m so incredibly appreciative.

The Young Artist Project

It’s been a whole YAP-year since YAP! 13 artists spent two weeks locked in a warehouse developing, writing, blocking, designing, and memorizing an original show. I’ve never been more eager to operate on 3 hours of sleep! I adore every single person in this cast 🫶 A million thanks to @phantomprojects , @goodsteveningtoyou , the entire YAP family, and @tchalamet for absolutely everything you poured into this silly, beautiful production!

The Young Artist Project 2026🌠

All the laughter, all the crying, the lack of sleep, collaborating, performing, creating…I would do it again and again and again. This type of work feeds my soul.

I am so grateful to have learned that this summer. & grateful to have learned to trust my own artistry a little more, understand my strengths and weaknesses a little more, and find my voice as an artist a little more.

Of course, a thousand million thank yous to @goodsteveningtoyou and @phantomprojects and all of my wonderfully talented cast mates.

I know I have so much more to learn, and I want to keep working hard, and growing, and improving. I want to create forever. & It’s memories like these that’ll remind me why I do this.

so incredibly grateful to @phantomprojects for this incredible opportunity, got to live my wildest actor/dancer/singer/writer dreams for two weeks straight and wouldn’t change it for the world. thank you so much @goodsteveningtoyou and to the amazing cast of 13, you guys are all stars and I loved being able to share this stage with you <3

one of the hardest, craziest, and coolest things i’ve ever gotten to be a part of. so thankful to @phantomprojects and @goodsteveningtoyou for this opportunity to become fully nocturnal and learn how to compose ragtime at 3am, and some other stuff too i guess. as someone who hasn’t really done theatre since high school (yeah idk how i got here either lol), it’s been an honor to write music for and share the stage with some of the nicest and funniest and most talented people on the planet. we may never be around this campfire again guys, but i’m so glad that we met 💫
