We did it. 8th place overall at the IFSS World Championships. Wow! Very competitive field. What an amazing experience and honor! We had the fastest run of the race today. Dogs were pumped and Rollin, running stronger than the past two days. I'm so proud of my pack. My amazing dogs. They exemplify what it means to have courage and heart. Thanking The Lord for seeing us through to the end with temps we were not at all prepped for. Thanking my friends @ibafair and Lee for your endless support. @mare_dog for being such an incredible help with the dogs...endless work. My crew at home and the mountains of snow you are shoveling to dig out the Rancho right now. Our new friend Malin @villiviimas ! Who placed 2nd and silver medal in the 6 dog RNB Class!! I finally met one of my dog sled heroes, Egil Ellis, who I've been reading about since middle school. Egil was in the 8 dog class with me. We were the only two Americans in the race. Egil placed second overall, earning a silver medal. Adding that to his countless amount World Championship titles as he is one of the most decorated mushers in history. It was such an honor to meet you and share the trail with you, Egil. Most importantly, thanking my Queen, my beautiful wife. I love you. Thank you for getting us here. Working so hard to make this happen for our dogs and kennel. Being so beyond patient with me and keeping me level headed. Thank you for praying over me. Thank you all SO, SO much for your endless support. All of you, your DMs and texts, phone calls, thank you so much. Meant the world to us.

All or nothing! 4 Park City dog sled touring companies all on board! As of recently, the four touring companies, including Luna Lobos, of Utah are standing together to create a strong role of leadership under the non-profit, Sledding For Hope, to promote the touring industry in our beautiful state. Dog sledding has become a popular activity for winter tourists that visit beautiful Park City, also in Wasatch and Summit counties. All four touring companies in our region are voluntarily going above and beyond what is required by their local animal control standards, to continue to promote a fun and healthy environment for their sled dogs. We all thrive on promoting excellence in every way, animal care first and foremost. This club is not government affiliated. The sole purpose of this club : Keeping and caring for sled dogs, sled dog health, running conditions, kennel operating standards and musher guide training. We have selected individuals who are well versed in the sled dog arena to promote and offer advice while visiting each kennel or tour site during the winter season. We also have world renowned veterinarians who are helping with this exciting project. Sledding for Hope will fund expenses. This is, we believe, a great way to mentor each other and work together to keep the sport alive and thrive! Thank you to, Maren of Arctic Rescue and All-seasons Adventures, Jordan of North Forty, Wade and Dallin of Bear Ridge for hearing us out and supporting the cause! You all are amazing and we'll make a great team💪🙌 Also, thank you to my Brother @i.jon.ramirez for designing the logo!!

Another summer of sled dog camp has come to a finish. I can't believe it. I'm so grateful to be in a position that allows me to share our amazing sport with these campers. One of our main goals is the importance of treating each other with respect. By demonstrating the patience, kindness and love we share with the dogs, our hope is that these young campers will learn to share the same love toward the Human Pack. To look out for one another and to simply care for each other. I feel blessed that this is my walk in life... even though most days I feel like a professional pooper scooper 😉... But if the Rancho can teach a few kids how to pick others up when they are down, I'll consider that a success. . . . . #rancholunalobos #roadtoworldchampionships #pedigreestagestoprace #rancholunalobos #alaskanhusky #utahsleddogs #parkcitysleddogs #dogsleddingparkcity #huskiesofinstagram #sleddogsofinstagram #instagood #photooftheday #nature #summercampparkcity #parkcitysummer

We are so honored to have been nominated and to have won, The Best of State Award, again this year. Winning, Best PRO Athlete, was definitely a shock! So many other deserving pro athletes / Olympians in our beautiful state. For us these awards are not intended to outshine anyone or other businesses, but it WILL outshine the graylight that dog sledding can be seen in. In small puppy steps, we hope our small kennel (of 82 dogs 🤪), can help impact our amazing sport in such a way. This makes 7 medals total since 2019. Thanking The Almighty for seeing us through this far 🙏 Thank you to all of our guests and clients who come all year round and to those who have supported us throughout the years. HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR CREW!!!! @monsweetness @nicholeworthen @ibafair @i.jon.ramirez @temporaryfind @king17._SARAH @peppermint.matti @mare_dog @eva_niel_11 @aka_stitchem We love you all!!

The Luna, Alpha of the Month award, goes to our very own @ibafair !! Tough as nails, always smiling, never backs down from a challenge and very humble. "The main characteristic of an alpha wolf is a quiet confidence, quiet self-assurance. You know what you need to do; you know what's best for your pack. You lead by example." Thank you Amanda for all you do!! Boom Boom!!
