Live sound mixing and engineering are among the things I love most! Over many years, I've been privileged to use these skills to contribute to an amazing worship experience. I had fun working through this mix and making changes to improve our worship experience.

Mixing FOH/Mains and Broadcast at the same time is hard. It's much easier when you have different engineers handling each of them. Another possibility, which was what I did here, is to have a broadcast mix (on the console or with a DAW) that has been tried and tested multiple times. However, you'll still have to make changes on the fly as a result of the uniqueness of each service (the time of day, style of music, vocal variety, and the way the musicians play).

Yesterday, with the Lord, and His saints, listening to God's word and fellowshipping with the brethren.

As we go on about life, Let us always remember that our destiny is to be in Christ (Eph 1:3-7) and our purpose, in Christ, is the work of ministry (Eph 4:12).

.......

Sometime in 2022, the 3rd substantive Vice-Chancellor of my alma mater, @jabu.info, Late Prof. Kola Sonaike, gave me a Bible (shown in slides 8-14) as a gift, after my convocation ceremony. I remember our last conversation around the Grace park close to the Univerisity auditorium. He said (I paraphrase), "once you are done with NYSC, quickly start your Ph.D." Wherever I go, I take that Bible along with me, remembering how he lived a fulfilling and how he positively touched everybody that crossed his path.

I was able to take some cool photos thanks to my photographer, @ako_dav 🙌

Last slide: Somewhere on the way back to base. Everytime I have to go to Pittsburgh, I always get lost at least once thanks to Google Maps confusing me by not updating on time 🤣😭. Today wasn't different, we missed our way just twice 😅😅😅.

Hebrews 9:28 NLT
[28] so also Christ was offered once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. He will come again, not to deal with our sins, but to bring salvation to all who are eagerly waiting for him.

Hebrews 10:14 NLT
[14] For by that one offering he forever made perfect those who are being made holy.

John 3:16 NLT
[16] “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

2 Corinthians 5:19-20 NLT
[19] For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. [20] So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”

Happy Easter Sunday!!!
