Hey all! I know it’s been quiet here on our social media and we figured we should let you know why. This last year we have been not just been working on our house, but we have also been in the process of building and creating new spaces on the property. Introducing Villa Lotus and Villa Sage! Along with these two new small homes we are updating the name of the property. While we love the meaning behind the DesVu name- we decided that with the growth- the name should follow suit. So we now present: Cascade House + Villas. Our new name pays homage not only to the waterfalls that surround our area, but also the winery that once lived on our property- Cascata Winery. You can visit our website at www.cascadeflx.com and follow our new villas at @cascadehouseflx . This account will stay the same for our continued renovation antics with the house. Go give us another follow (pretty please) to stay up to date and see all of the rad content from the Villas. #flx #fingerlakes #watkinsglen #cascadevillas #cascade

Here is day one. October 7th, 2023.

On our 18th wedding anniversary, we closed on our new home. A Victorian house built in the 1800’s - on Lake Seneca in the Fingerlakes of NY - that needs some love to bring her back to glory. We are calling her DesVu House. For those who have known us… the core of our family is love, community, and the memories that the combination of those two bring. DesVu can loosely be translated as ~ The awareness that this moment will soon be a memory.

Be in the moment. It’s what you have now.

Follow along as we renovate and build our new home. This is gonna be fun. Come on over.

A few weeks ago I met up w/ @dondiablo & talked about making my upcoming Hex release “Back 2 Me” a MMW banger...when it dropped on Friday I thought it would flop because of everything that’s happening in the world. But what I saw is the complete opposite, ppl at home shuffling/working out to it/making TikToks & streaming it. As an artist it’s a really weird time and streaming is so important to keep things going so beyond thankful to every single person thats streamed this record, shuffled to it, shared it with a social distanced friend & to @spotify & @applemusic for playlisting it...can’t wait till this is over so we can continue the party together (swipe right to see all the dope things happening with Back2Me & my dog boomer)❤️🚀

Despite the wind and the rain I had an awesome time at @defiantbrewing yesterday. At times I had to spin one handed while holding down the EZup with the other, which was challenging for sure, but we pulled it off. Had a blast transitioning from Poetic Thrust to Geezer starting out with a remix of Blackstreet’s “No Diggity” and working through to High On Fire’s “Fury Whip”. Both bands rocked, had a ton of great beers and BBQ and a super fun guest appearance by Finback’s @adrocknroll @geezertown and @poeticthrust both kicked total ass! Thanks to @iblamekyle and the Defiant Crew and special thanks to @kevin_talbot for holding down the @alewifebrewingcompany table! Finally, thanks to @growlerandgill for bringing in Alewife Beer for the after party! #alewifebrewing #tasteislife #alewifebeer #alewifelife #mmmbeer #nybeer #nycbrewed #queensbeer #thinknydrinkny #instabeer #geezer #defiantbrewery #growlerandgillcraftbrewshoppe

@defiantbrewing Abominable Snowfest 6.0 is in the books. It was nice to be on the floor as a non-industry entity for once and just enjoy the show. And a beautiful show it was, as always! #weareallsilhouette #bedefiant #howdoyouseeyourself #whatmakesaman #iblamekyle
