New series: “Wherever You Are” Ep.1 (Part 1/2)

I’m talking to music students at every stage — Highschool freshmen just starting to think about college auditions, seniors mid-grind, students who just got their College acceptance letters, and musicians who already made it through and are on the other side.

This process looks different for everyone. There’s no “right” point to start figuring it out.

Wherever you are — that’s where we’re starting.

Ep.1 (Part 1/2) — Danial (@ibrown_e)

Trombone player, full tuition scholarship to St. Olaf College. Applied to 5 schools, got into all 5 — almost every audition done online since traveling to each one wasn’t an option financially.

But the hardest part wasn’t the auditions. It was picking where to go. Stuck between two schools right up until the May 1st deadline, with new offers still coming in while he tried to decide.

This process is easier when you know you’re not the only one going through it. Got a story at any stage? DM me “WHEREVER” — let’s talk about you.
