Don’t hold your breath waiting on me to fail cause you gone die 🗣️

It’s funny because how dare somebody think that they have that much power and dominion over my life to think that just because YOU are here that I will not succeed or that I will not be happy!

TUH!

One thing about me…. I WILL ALWAYS BE GOOD! Because I know I’m not fighting my battles alone. I am always protected and accounted for and NO ONE or NO THING can take that away from me 🥰😌

Man people will never know how much 🏀 is bigger than just that. It’s meditation. It’s a muse. Its an outlet. It’s peace. It’s calmness in the middle of a storm.

Sometimes you want to take a step away from the world and still be here and basketball does that for me. And I’ve found now more than ever that I need it in my life.

Whether I’m coaching, playing, or watching it’s ingrained in me. It’s an invisible tattoo. It’s in my blood 🩸 and my DNA 🧬

It’s apart of me that I never want to live without…

I’m just grateful I get to share it with the people I love the most 🩷🤍

🚨MESSAGE🚨

Stop trying to save others when you haven’t taken the time to save yourself.

Often times, we lost ourselves trying to be there for other people and solve other peoples problems.

All the while, we are still drowning in our own because we haven’t taken that energy to find a solution for ourself before we do that for someone else.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but it’s time that YOU CHOOSE YOU!

It’s completely ok to offer advice or support to someone close to you. But at the point at which it gets to be too much, or you are trying to be a solution more than they are you’ve got to step back!

Now there are very small exceptions to this… because not every situation is the same. But you get the point.

Don’t die trying to save someone else who doesn’t want to save themselves.

If it costs your sanity, your aura, or your peace it’s too expensive.

Love y’all 🫶🏽💕

Here’s a dedicated to my best friend girl and longest friendship. Who knew 16 years ago when we met at church that you would play for my dad…. Become my sisters teammate…. Become my college teammate… and we would become the best of friends! Thank you for always having my back! You’ve shown up for me in ways I would never imagine. Thank you for pouring into me when my light is running low. Thanks for being genuine and having the sweetest of hearts! I’ve had the privilege of literally WATCHING you grow up. I’ve watched you grow from shy to bold. From weak to strong. From sad to happy. From a kid into a woman. From a daughter into a mother. And I honestly couldn’t be more proud! All I’ve seen is resilience since we became friends. You showed me how to unapologetically show up as myself. And how to love me when no one else did. You saw me when I couldn’t see myself yet and I will always be grateful to God for adding another sister to my life. Sarah Green Scoring Machine you are loved… and on the days you don’t feel like it I hope you go back and read this so it’ll remains you 💕 Love you girl! And Happy belated birthday! Here’s to 30 🥳
