POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We took a couple of days to sit with everything. The premiere of My Father’s Shadow at @festivaldecannes and now the film winning the Caméra d’Or Special Mention still feels surreal.

It’s an incredible feeling when all the hard work, passion, and chaos come together and something beautiful comes out of it. Every single person who touched this film gave a piece of themselves, and you can feel that in every moment on screen.

This project is especially close to our hearts, it’s the first feature film we’ve designed as Production Designers, and we got to do it with our people, in the place we love. That alone makes this a win for us.

Thank you @akinoladaviesjr and @kingxdavies for trusting us from the very beginning. From the first time we worked together on Lizard, we knew we’d found kindred spirits, people who care deeply about craft, about culture, about pushing boundaries. And @iamdargavel thank you for being such a steady force behind us all these years and stirring us in the right direction. @funmbi_o @nick.hayes_ @lucycjlocket Moya and the rest of the production team, you truly made us feel supported from beginning to end, and managed to keep performing miracles along the way!

And to our Art Department, we’ve said it before, but we’ll say it again: we truly couldn’t have done it without you. Lagos tested us all, but you showed up with so much energy, creativity, and commitment. We’re so proud of what we made together.

This one’s for everyone who believes in building together, and in telling stories that matter 🇳🇬
