It was a great atmosphere at Victoria Park yesterday. Our team of amazing runners took part in Run Leicester, completing either the half marathon or 10k. Every step they took was to raise funds for our work. Every penny will go towards helping adults who are homeless in Leicester. We work hard to help our residents to rebuild their lives, engage with support and move on positively. Your donation is vital, it changes and saves lives.
A huge thank you to our partners @dropofcompassion and @khidmahorg for choosing to fundraise for ORL and the fantastic sponsors: @pallex.group @konakleicester @healandclinic @funvalley_uk @chaiwalacompany @juices_4life @speedel_uk @PlayPdl Clarendon Laundry and Watergates.

Another project completed by Iris Signs 🔥

Loved working on this one for PDL! We fitted the external signage, heated vinyl wallpaper prints, 3mm aluminium built-up letters and an illuminated flex box to bring the Bru x PDL collaboration to life. ✨

PDL is the number 1 padel court & wellness hub in the UK 🎾💪 and we’re proud to have been trusted with bringing their space to life.

💙❤️ Platinum Sponsor Spotlight – Clarendon Laundry ❤️💙

For decades, Clarendon Laundry has been serving Leicester with quality, reliability and a commitment to excellence. Their longstanding reputation and dedication to the local community make them a valued partner of Khidmah Organisation.

We're incredibly grateful to Clarendon Laundry for joining us as a Platinum Sponsor of our 2026 CommUnity Fundays. Their support played an important role in helping us deliver a free community event that welcomed thousands of attendees across the weekend.

Strong community organisations are built on strong local partnerships, and we're proud to work alongside businesses that share our vision of giving back and making a positive difference.

A huge Jazākumullāhu Khayran to the entire Clarendon Laundry team for your continued support and may it be a means of reward for Basharat Uncle and his familym. We look forward to building on this partnership for many years to come, in shā' Allāh.

A beautiful evening surrounded by incredible people ✨

From community leaders to change-makers it was truly inspiring to bring together individuals across Leicester who are making a meaningful impact.

We shared the journey of Leicestershire Zakah Foundation, reflected on the work we’ve achieved so far and celebrated the power of community, compassion, and collective action.

Thank you to everyone who attended and continues to support the vision of LZF ❤️

Jamila’s Legacy is delighted to welcome @sulemannagdi as our Honorary Patron.

Suleman has dedicated many years to supporting communities and championing important causes, helping to raise awareness of the needs of those who may otherwise go unheard.

Their support means a great deal to us and to the communities we serve. We look forward to working together to continue raising awareness about mental health, reducing stigma and ensuring people can access compassionate support when they need it most.

Jamila’s Legacy is delighted that all 16 Neighbourhood Mental Health Cafe Providers across Leicester , Leicestershire & Rutland have been recognised. This is a fantastic achievement for all of us providers. The success of this partnership is down to the genuine collaboration, true co production and the value and recognition of our expertise in the VCSE from Robert Melling and his amazingly supportive team.
