Last week Deep Ellum’s @ichigohramen hosted Hokkaido-based ramen shop Fukutei for a pop-up featuring their trademark shrimp miso ramen. This is it, and it was good.

This my friends is the face of happiness. Earlier today my dear friend and fellow foodie @mallorypittman had some Uncommon Ramen at @ichigohramen
Both our first time here and believe me we’ve had some good noodles and some subpar. But THIS ramen.. well it definitely stood out like no other! Just the well balanced and perfectly seasoned miso along with the tenderest noodles really stood out or maybe it was the sweetest people (couple) who made it worth the while! Upon leaving we hear “Arigato gozaimasu!” from the couple. I smiled a big smile! My stomach was happy and so was my soul! THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! TOP 3 Ramen for sure!

Checked out @ichigohramen for the first time after it changed from Tanoshii and it was an amazing experience! The staff were very attentive and answered ALL of the questions we had for them. I ordered the Spicy Soboro Shoyu Ramen and added bamboo and a seasoned egg! SO GOOD the pork was AMAZING! Definitely coming back to try their other items!🍜

The best ramen in the Dallas area!!!
.
This is The ramen I want to eat when I miss Japanese food!
.
They are focusing to chicken broth soup which is my most favorite, and using noodles from Hokkaido (Northern prefecture in Japan).
.
I want to try their Shoyu Ramen next time!

📍Dallas, TX
• Tan Tan Mazemen
• Yuzu Shio

Nothing beats a nice both of either dry or soup ramen. 🤩🍜 .
.
.
The Yuzu Shio Ramen had a subtle Yuzu taste in the broth and it wasn’t overpowering.
