One of the best nights of my life. Processing the emotions & feelings from this special galería are indescribable. For years, I've been searching for & trying my best to create / join genuine community in Portland, Oregon. I can confidently declare that there's a beautiful community growing in Portland that I am so happy to be a part of. I am so grateful for everyone that was there and to my loved ones that came to show love, it truly means the world to me 🌎 I took nearly zero photos & videos, which is new to me since I'm always documenting our memories together. My friends and I were truly living in the moment and I couldn't be happier to experience that night in it's perfect present ⁣
⁣
This is just the beginning for PDX & for my personal artistic journey. We are just getting started here. I can't wait to see what we continue to build <3⁣

SALUTE! It’s been a crazy couple of months working on some new endeavors. First thing on the list to share is a new space we took over that we’re introducing as THE GARAGE - focused on servicing and building A/V + recording gear led by master tinkerer, Miguel (@__emze).

Our floor neighbors moved out, and the property manager gave us a chance to renovate a space if we wanted to take it over. It used to be a wood shop for a period of time, and ended up becoming a storage unit for 10+ years. On first glance, it seemed like a familiar scenario for us to lock in on our HGTV skillset that we can’t seem to run away from, and breathe new life into the room. It was a lot of work in a short period of time, but worth it knowing that we can continue to help people out. Huge thank you to all the buds that came through and helped make this light work.

Shortly after starting 606, Miguel instantly became the squad expert on finding the problem with any electronics, fixing it, and even building gear/microphones from the ground up. In a world where everything costs so much money, Miguel dove deep into the rabbithole to see how much we’re able to do on our own DIY tip.

If you have any gear that’s running into problems, interest in having some custom outboard or microphones built, tape deck calibration or anything nerd related like that - tap in.

Here’s a few flicks from our journey remodeling, @flowerxgirl pulling up as a first client to check out her Technics, @corderocustoms taking our photo backdrop for a spin, @__emze working on a custom Maag EQ4 build, and Celine Dion carrying us out. Our site will be updated soon for more information on this and some events that we’re putting on for the summer.
