Today we present Jiuk Kim @keemgeewook — A photographer who was born on Jeju Island in Korea. Since childhood, she had a passion for creative activities such as drawing, but she decided to first go for the safe route and studied chemical engineering in Seoul. However, after graduating, she realised that this was not the path she wanted to take and moved to Berlin with the sole purpose of becoming a photographer. Since then, she has been developing her photography practice and continues to work in the field. Minjoo Ham @minjooham_ Friday, 24 February 2023 LOOM @loom “We are pleased to introduce our first collaboration project. As LOOM defines itself as a playground for the circulation of ideas, this collaboration with Kurato transfers LOOM space to the showroom of nature, ‘DOLPOOL’, for private visitors. A weed and a tile at the same time, DOLPOOL is a modular carpet that organically fills a space with its flowing shapes and vibrant green colors. DOLPOOL blends the idea of a concrete tile system with overgrown weeds and Bryophyta. And to highlight this collaboration, we invited a giant ‘stone’ drawn by Minjoo Ham on the wall. The overgrown expressions on the mural improvised the systematic nature of the typeface into organic gestures.”

In order to achieve recognition for more diverse family forms, we investigate the father as a cultural role. The purpose of this Event is to tell the story of our Brand, while screening our short film "Evolution of Care" along with Interviews of fathers sharing their own stories. We want you to experience the transformative power of innovative design. The Atelier Showroom will exhibit how our form of activism was crafted into a sustainable technology for garment construction. To encourage everyone to merge in our world; five of our Coats will be available to try on. Each in different sizes and colours And it works both with or without a carried Baby inside. If you don't have a Baby yet, we will provide a dummy!

Numéro Berlin accompanied ACRONYM® designer Errolson Hugh for the first preview of the designs and spoke with him about innovation, authenticity and why sometimes, it can be very helpful to be an outsider.
