Not every shot has to be about capturing reality as it is. Sometimes, it’s about seeing things differently and having fun with the process.

And honestly, I kinda like how this turned out.

~ A VOICE ~

Yesterday, I went to see @shabakahutchings and came away blown away.

He spoke about experimentation, his saxophone as a voice he chooses to use and share, and the hope that his music and creativity might inspire others to solve problems in their own worlds, creatively too.

That really resonated with me.

Photography is my voice. I choose how I use it, what I share and how I see the world. It expresses what I feel, sometimes without needing to explain anything, justify anything or even offer a clear solution.

Sometimes, the point is simply to make you feel something. Or see something differently.

@shabakahutchings, if you ever fancy a collaboration, I’d be honoured. Thank you for such a brilliant evening. Your smile is as radiant as your creativity. Keep doing what you do.

Light on waves at Largs Bay in Adelaide. Wave details and the play of light is quite wonderful!

A structured chaos where every single movement just makes sense. (4/5)
⠀
During my time in NYC, I ran across the bridges and through Central Park multiple times before sunrise. It was an incredible way to absorb the city's energy while most of it was still asleep.
⠀
This multiple exposure of my run through Central Park merges towering architecture with the fleeting shadows of runners, shrinking the city's massive scale into a single gritty frame.

Are you an early bird explorer or a night owl?

#rawandroam #cityrhythm #urbanexploration #doubleexposure #nycarchitecture #moodygrams #streetshadows A complex multiple exposure image showing translucent figures of runners in Central Park overlapping with dark trees and massive New York skyscrapers in the background. The edit is gritty, dark, and highly textured.

High Park but make it a painting 🖼️ 📸

I’ve been really loving multiple exposure ICM lately! I make sure to take several of these images every time I’m out shooting. This was my first outing with @torontocameraclub since joining in September. It was a stunning day and was great to meet some of the members in person too!

Let me know which image you like best. Drop a comment below ⬇️
