Ian Epps is a Brooklyn based musician whose work explores immateriality through dense harmonic fields, a full spectrum sound combining room tone and feedback that is hypersensitive in its closeness while expansive in a drift of indeterminacy. Allowing the physical sound and the dynamics of the room to influence the shape of the unfolding acoustics, the room is played as an instrument

The Missing Field are an all-instrumental krautrock/punk-jazz orchestra—a bright, blooming flower in a rusting midwestern waste land, a soundtrack for the mind bounded in a nutshell.

Lihuen Sirvent is an Argentinian composer and flutist based in Buffalo, New York. Her work as a performer combines the flute with electronic systems that incorporate tape, homemade speakers, and sound-controlled visual elements.

Make better use of space
It’s perfect for studios with limited room.
ᕬ
Mounted spacer blocks offset the easel away from the surface, to make use of walls with obstacles (circuit breaker boxes, windows, light switches or outlets) allowing you the ability to use spaces that were unusable before.
With the ability to roll the track to the side you can continue to use your wall for photo shoots, studio visits or easily move large paintings out of the way to set up for additional paintings to be worked on.

ᕬ
Minimally designed for the least amount of distraction.

✚ I’m not a selfie type but here it is 👋🏼 for the algo rhythm.

More info can be found on the website. I even do custom sizes.

I've just finished creating a Spotify playlist called 'Watery Ambience, Oceanic Soundscapes, Liquid Tones & Deep Sea Drones'.

A long title I know, but whatever... I had a great time putting together this vast liquidy 4+hour long playlist of water-themed ambient dreamscapes.
I threw a few songs from my own deep sea ambient concept album 'Kingdoms of the Deep' in there too.

Anyway, here's the link if you want to check it out...

Mix archive @camp_fr!
Just incase anyone fancies a break from Boris / tories and co later - (although it's sweet to see)
The archive from my show with Zoe Venditozzi reading 'Everyman, or The Sparkly Golden vagina' is now online. As usual I made a collage for it, it actually makes sense if you listen to the show 😄 link in bio or -

Worth following @witches.of.scotland if you're interested in the history of witches and feminism, you'll find some interesting parallels and probably things you didn't know.
This story isn't technically A witches of Scotland story, but it all ties in.

Sidenote: My improv track for this show is rough and raw, defo a couple of dodgy notes and janky transitions, I was so tired by the time I got round to the mix 😄

Also did you know some music files are protected from being used in DAWS? I'd bought a couple of film scores caus for this as I had them stored on old drives stashed away, totally non compliant..

I think it works anyway. It's a bangin wee story, so well read, and I'm lucky know some super talented musicians, discovered some new talent this week, unreal skills!

Opening this Friday - Christy Nyboer’s project “Forgotten Lake” is an art installation inspired by Portland’s strange history of the land where NW Marine Art Works is built. In 1905 Guild’s Lake was the site of Oregon’s Lewis & Clark Centennial Exposition, and the area we now know as “NW Industrial”. Prior to 1905, this area was once a natural, swampy wetlands occupied by Native Americans, which eventually became drained and filled to make way for the neighborhood we see today. “Forgotten Lake” is a reflective journey to find creative, physical and emotional places that have been lost over time. Searching for lost feelings of calmness and sanctuary in oneself.

Using aluminum, dirt, seeds and live plants, Nyboer (@mycolorstudy) has recreated her own reflective pool using a historic map of Guild’s Lake as her reference.

Sound artist, Ian Epps (@icraigepps), has collaborated with Nyboer’s vision of “Forgotten Lake” and composed a sound piece to accompany the viewers experience. He collaged field recordings of Portland region Katydids and Cicadas with wind. There are 7 parts to Epps composition and play continuous on loop.
