Our Community 🇵🇪♥️ 16 powerful, real, exquisite, diverse women and our guide Juan holding down the masculine in its most beautiful form … protective and tender. A most sacred constellation of humans to journey with. 🇵🇪 What we created together was so special. Yes, we got some epic group photos. This first one after closing circle on our way to our fancy dinner the last night in Cusco. And more importantly I experienced full permission to express my awkwardness and anxiety and joy without any tension. I was always met with acceptance and genuine care. I wish this didn’t feel so rare … and the ability for all of us to let down and support one another was a gift. We laughed and cried, dealt with health challenges and environmental adjustments, and full full days of learning and adventure. And we did it together. With maturity, love, and play. Thank you to all of these women, our leaders Nikki and Kate, and our guide Juan. I’m proud of us and all we created together. My life is so much better knowing you. 🇵🇪 Rewild Peru 2026 Machu Picchu 9.24.26 Chinchero, Peru 9.23.26 Birthplace of the rainbow 🌈 elevation 12,343, the highest point for us Pisac Market 9.21.26 Moray Inca Ruins, 9.21.26 Moray Inca Ruins. We had to get onto the land. Juan guided us through a beautiful practice to connect the sun and the earth and bring them both to our heart. At golden hour no less. Will never forget the vast sky and potent earth in this spot. 🫠 Juan, our guide who also opened us to sacred ritual, invited us to experience his country and ancestral land through our heart, feeling and connecting with devotion and knowledge. I learned that love, work, and knowledge are what create power and leadership for Quechua people. So beautiful. 💚 Thank you for being our protector and support, along with our teacher, photographer, friend, and shaman Juan. You gave us so much space to be ourselves and joined in with our silliness. You’re the best. Tupananchiskama - until life brings us together again 🇵🇪🙏🏼 NIKKI … I love you. 💕 So grateful our paths crossed in the interwebs of Spring 2020 when the world was shutting down. Who knew it would eventually take us to Mexico

The slides speak for themselves 🥹🫶🏽 This time together touched our hearts deeply. We couldn’t have asked for a more incredible group to share these special moments with. Nikki and I, in the name of Lahari Yoga School, are over the moon (and what a moon we experienced while we were there) 🌚 So incredibly grateful!

One of my absolute favorite things about Ireland is how welcoming they are of families in all areas of life. We went to a handful of pubs (great ones, thanks to @jackmcgarry1 for sending me his and @seanjamesmuldoon ‘s book, From Barley to Blarney) with my best friend and her kids, and it was such a pleasant surprise. No sitter, no handing anyone off to a stranger for the night. Idris at 10 months, her two at 3 and 9, all of us just there. We talked to locals and new friends who brought their own instruments and played real music, no speakers, while the kids slept or wandered right next to us. Every pub felt like someone’s living room. What an incredible place. Our faves in the comments.

The Cliffs of Moher. Worth every step, every gust of wind, and every extra layer we packed. A great day with Idris, his Ninang, and the people we love. 📍County Clare, Ireland

Leap Castle is one of the most haunted castles in the world. Idris was ten months old and not worried about any of it. He took in every spiral staircase, every stone hallway, every hidden corner. The caretaker played flute in the ruins while we walked through. We sat, taking in the visit on the grass a long time after. 📍Leap Castle, County Offaly, Ireland

We made it to Dublin! After a ten hour overnight flight, Idris was ready to eat. Fish and chips first. Obviously. We spent two days taking in the city. The Guinness Storehouse, Temple Bar, the cobblestone streets. Idris slept through most of it. Waking up to take in sights and eat. We had a dance party and I had a Guinness at the top. We weren’t traveling alone. We were with his Ninang @meesabella and her family. Ate Isla kept close the whole trip. Idris didn’t know it then, but he was already building his people. Dublin, Ireland. Ten months old.

When we started traveling with Idris, I thought the challenge would be the flights. It wasn’t. It was learning to let go of perfection. Over the first year we learned a few things: • A bottle, pacifier, or nursing at takeoff and landing helps little ears adjust to the pressure changes. • Pack lighter than you think you need to. I once found myself alone in a coffee shop in Lisbon with a stroller, car seat, carry-on, checked bag, diaper bag, and baby carrier. Learn from my mistakes. • Pack the medications. We’ve dealt with allergic reactions while traveling and more than one ER visit for respiratory issues after forgetting a nebulizer. Those are the first things that get packed now. • Call the hotel before you arrive and let them know you’re traveling with a baby. Request a crib or pack and play if needed. A little notice goes a long way and often gives the hotel an opportunity to make your stay more comfortable. • Never leave home without a baby blanket. Shade. Warmth. And nap insurance. • If you’re traveling internationally alone with your child, bring the paperwork. One thing I forgot to mention in the reel: the letter of consent from your partner should be notarized and may be required depending on your destination. And maybe the biggest lesson of all: Find ten minutes for yourself. A tea while baby naps. A quiet moment by the pool. A walk. There will always be too many things to do. Slow down. Get back in your body. Breathe. The dishes can wait. The email can wait. This season won’t. Traveling with a baby isn’t always easy. But it is worth it. Pack light. Ask for help. Don’t try to control everything. And ENJOY it. It all goes by faster than any flight.

Idris’ first restaurant was Momofuku Las Vegas at six weeks old. Last week, we staycationed at the Venetian and had dinner at COTE. Hospitality is a small world, but a long one. The best part is that many of the people taking care of us were the same people who took care of us four and a half years ago. The GM, chef, and managers from Momofuku are here now. Watching everyone’s careers evolve and seeing what they’ve built together is pretty incredible. The relationships you build somehow have a way of finding you again. Different restaurant. Same feeling. We felt genuinely cared for, and that’s something I’ll always appreciate. Full circle.

Idris was three months old. First flight. Las Vegas to LA. I was terrified. Not of flying. Of flying alone with a baby. What if he cried the whole time? What if he had a blowout and I was by myself? Right before takeoff — blowout. The kind that travels from diaper to neck. We were already seated. I couldn’t get up. So I wrapped him in a puppy pad I had packed just in case. Waited. Then squeezed into the tiniest airplane bathroom imaginable, cleaned him up with wipes, changed his clothes, stuffed everything into a dog poop bag, and walked back to my seat like nothing happened. The things I worried about most weren’t the things that stopped us. Sometimes the worst case happens. And then you handle it. I still pack a puppy pad. Every trip. Even when I’m traveling solo.
