Tell your story so someone else can learn from your setbacks, struggles, and disappointments. Your experiences may place you in front of people who need to hear what you’ve been through. What was once painful can become a source of inspiration, encouragement, and hope for someone who is struggling to find their way. Don’t be ashamed of your story. Your testimony may be the very thing that helps someone else keep going. #fridayflashback #specialguestspeaker #businessconsultants #entrepreneurlife #mrtobyspeaks

The Little Boy Inside: How Childhood Trauma Affects Black Men I had the honor of participating in a powerful panel discussion where brave Black men shared eye-opening revelations about the impact of childhood trauma on their lives and relationships. We dug deep into the struggles many Black men face and the silent battles they carry with them every day. We explored complex topics such as: *The dynamics of mother-son relationships *The absence of fathers *The harsh realities of colorism *Environmental influences *The coping mechanisms of self-medicating, and much more During our in-depth discussion we realized men are not just acting out! Some behaviors truly stem from trauma! Self medication is REAL!!!!! This conversation highlighted the urgent need for healing, empathy, and understanding for our Black men—both the boys they once were and the men they have become. 💔 PLEASE CHECK OUT THE FULL DISCUSSION on the New You Nation Network YouTube channel. #MentalHealth #BlackMenHealing #ChildhoodTrauma #HealingJourney #BreakingTheCycle #share #menhurttoo

A special thanks to today’s guest speakers! Mr. Ola, Vice President, Community Manager, Chase Bank provided the youth with vital information on finances. Larry Paul, the owner of Loyalty Financial Services, spoke in detail regarding understanding the difficulties that come with not being financially aware of how money can work for you. Managing money isn’t easy. Waiting to learn about handling money until you are on your own as an adult makes it even more challenging. Teaching kids about money early on will help them to become more financially independent as they get older. Financial education has been linked to lower debt levels, higher savings, and higher credit scores as children mature into adulthood. Later on in life, that financial education is also positively connected to net worth and investing. #boys #teens #youth #malementoring #burlingtoncity #saturdayvibes #september2024 #eachoneteachone #itakesavillage @asw_carmenmorales @know_thy_shelf__tv @khaleelanderson #awardwinningprogram #mrtobyspeaks
