My career has evolved in ways I could have never fully planned.

From building my first business as a makeup artist, to creating the career I have today in permanent makeup, to educating others, and now expanding within the beauty industry through skincare as an Independent Distributor with RIMAN @weareriman the #1 Korean skincare brand in South Korea and finally putting that Master Aesthetics license I went to school for to use. 😉✨

RIMAN means rebirth, and that meaning feels especially aligned with this chapter of my life. It represents growth, transformation, and stepping into new beginnings while honoring everything that came before.

And no, this doesn’t mean @idartsy is becoming a med spa or that I’m stepping away from permanent makeup. I’m simply bringing another part of my beauty background full circle by sharing products I genuinely believe in and have fallen in love with…while also being able to share an opportunity that has opened new doors for me and help others who are looking to create something more for themselves.

Every chapter has looked different. Some have challenged me, some have changed me, and all of them have taught me to trust myself a little more.

I don’t know exactly what the next chapter holds. But I know the woman writing it.

And I trust her completely. 🤍✨

If Netflix ever made a documentary about my life, it wouldn’t be about the business.

It would be about everything it took to keep it going while my whole world was changing.

From the outside, people saw me building my business, getting awards, growing my team, and all the opportunities that have come by way. @idartsy

But there was another story unfolding behind the scenes.
✦ The IVF journey.
✦ A high-risk pregnancy.
✦ A traumatic birth.
✦ Postpartum depression.
✦ Living with carpal tunnel that changed the way I could work.
✦ Learning to slow down doing things I loved or enjoyed not because I wanted to, but because life required me to.

There were days I questioned everything. Days I wondered if I was doing enough for my business and for my family. I definitely did not have it all figured out. But taking one step forward was enough.

For a long time, I felt like I had to protect the image of having it all together. I don’t anymore.

Because if sharing the parts that no one saw helps another entrepreneur, another mother, or another woman feel a little less alone, then every chapter has been worth it.

So stayed tuned for my series about the chapters behind the business. The ones that changed my perspective. The ones that changed my priorities. The ones that changed the entrepreneur I had to become.

✦ You’ll hear about motherhood.
✦ About entrepreneurship.
✦ About identity.
✦ About health.
✦ About letting go of expectations.
✦ About creating new opportunities when life forced me to rethink old ones.
✦ And bout realizing that sometimes the life you never planned for ends up becoming the one you’re most proud of.

Sometimes the most important part of the story isn’t how you built the business. It’s who you became while fighting to keep it alive.

Apparently this is my documentary era.
Grab your popcorn. 🍿

I’m entering a new season ✨

When I became a mom to Valentina, and later to Braxton, I made the intentional decision to reduce my schedule, not because I loved my business any less. But because I wanted to be as present as possible during those early years of motherhood to two little people who changed my world ❤️

As many of you know, building a business while raising a family is a constant balancing act. Every season asks something different of us, and for me, that season meant slowing down professionally so I could fully embrace being present for my children. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and I’m incredibly grateful to each of you who continued to support @idartsy patiently waited for appointments with me, and trusted my team.

Valentina is now four and Braxton is two, our family has found a new rhythm.

Beginning at the end of August, I’ll be expanding my schedule and spending more time back in the studio.

I’m excited to welcome familiar faces back into my schedule, meet new clients, and continue doing the work I love.

This next chapter feels really special.

Thank you for being part of my journey. ❤️
