Student entrepreneurs at Grand Canyon University are turning their ideas into successful businesses, and they’ve reached an exciting milestone! Through the IDEA Club Marketplaces, GCU student vendors have generated more than $1 million in revenue across more than 35 marketplace events in just over three years.

These marketplaces give students the opportunity to showcase their products, connect with customers and gain real-world business experience while earning money to support their education and grow their companies.

Beyond the impressive sales, this milestone highlights the power of hands-on learning, creativity and entrepreneurial thinking. At GCU’s Colangelo College of Business, we’re proud to support opportunities that help students turn their ideas into action and develop the skills needed to succeed in today’s business world.

Because building a successful business starts with an idea—but it grows through experience, determination and the courage to take the first step.

RECORD ATTENDANCE FOR GCU’s @ideagcu at 144 people today!! Blessed to be able to pour into everybody here

I spoke about the importance of documenting your journey and just start talking on camera - no matter where you’re at in life.

It’s the thing that I was passionate about, and then now 4 years later - I help service business owners talk on camera and run instagram ads - which then they’re able to get booked jobs from this app because trust is built on their page

Life is a trip. I went to this college from 2019-2023 and now being able to speak and pour into others here is such a blessing
