For a summer collection, @SKIMS transformed @rockefellercenter into a destination of its own, introducing a striking baby-blue structure that evokes the movement of water.

Designed to work with its surroundings rather than compete with them, the installation integrates directly with Rockefeller Center’s existing fountains, with a sculptural diving board becoming part of the architecture of the plaza. The result is an immersive environment where SKIMS’ visual language meets one of New York’s most recognisable landmarks, creating an experience that feels both unexpected and remarkably at home.

The activation extended beyond the structure itself, combining the Rockettes, branded ice cream, and integrated shopping moments into a single experience designed for interaction and discovery. The production agency behind the project, @idekoproductions, brought the bold fabrication and fully operational space to life, demonstrating how a temporary environment can become more than a pop-up when its design responds to the place around it. 👙💦🏙️🍦✨
