I wrote this piece about my mom and a stuffed monkey a few years ago. It found a home with @identitytheorymag just after she died. That feels beautiful, somehow. 🙊 Thanks for loving this essay @mattborondy

My story “The Order of Things” is now at Identity Theory. A strong title for a person whose life has often resembled a drawer closing on a fork.

It’s on my linktree. Please direct all clicking to the bio.

Photo + poem from summer, the latter of which is up today on @identitytheorymag as January tiptoes in. Thank you for publishing my first (🥲) sonnet (& thank you @hannahmaverickcruz for your guidance in wrestling the words into a foreign form). Cheers to a new year & more life, whatever’s on the other side of winter. 🌽🌾
