LADIES!!!!

SEATTLE WAS AMAZING!!!

Thank you to all the incredible ladies who showed up and showed out. We had the most beautiful journey together, we laughed, we shared, we learned, we celebrated the khair together and we gave beautiful ladies their flowers 💐

We want to thank our incredible host @ifethya who did more than we could ever ask for. She was also one of our special honourees for all the impact she has had on the community💐

The entire room was filled with so much love and joy, we are still reliving every moment. We walked in on khair, and walked out with even more khair.

One of our favourite moments was the mirror activity 🪞 the ladies wrote promises to themselves and while looking in the mirror they stuck the sticky notes on the mirror as a personal promise of growth🥹💐

We spoke about how to better yourself as a woman of khair, and how the closeness you have to Allah will always determine your true success💜 This was one of the main themes of the night. The reflection moments that came from this part were absolutely breathtaking.

Special thank you to @_jamaaad for speaking some powerful words to the crowd, it was an honour for us to give you your flowers 💐

You all represented khair, growth, support, and wisdom. 💐💐💐💐💐💐

Our honourees came looking so beautiful inside and out. We appreciate you wonderful ladies and the work you all do.

This event hosted by @sheisamandaj @she.is.experience was BEAUTIFULLY executed, held, arranged, planned, designed. Every adjective I can think of, she did and I just have to give her flowers. 🫂👏🏾💐

To walk into a space where it exuded Black Unity, Black Excellence, Women Empowerment, and Strength amongst the Black community, it was a gift to be in a safe space that embodied those things and to show up with our melanin. I just left last night feeling completely whole and complete giving God the praise and glory for using Amanda as a vessel for us to see the vision of sisterhood through Him. 🤍

On February 24th 2024 we were blessed with the opportunity to have @khairlife speak at “The Huddle”. Here’s what she had to say…

“To all the black kings and queens, join me and let’s humanize this healing! Let’s rebuild the broken pieces and let’s honour our purpose by beginning to live and not only existing.

Let’s be vulnerable and transparent. Let’s Relax, Release, so we can Receive what GOD has for us. Let’s put our bags down for a second and heal in self grace. Let’s reset our minds to believe in community over competition.

Redefine your trauma, because believe me it isn’t your enemy. If you fuel it with a little bit of faith, you’ll realize that it’s actually your reference point. It’s your mirror to show you your stamina. Most of All, God would never put you through something you can’t handle, other than to build you stronger.

Everything that happens to you, is always for you and never against you. You are loved, and you are love. Lastly, let’s live lives that out live us in legacy💜”
