Where does reality end and imagination begin?

Στο φετινό Psarokokalo ISFF, υποδεχόμαστε το "Idylls of the King" της Μαρκέλας Κονταράτου (@markela_kontaratou).

At this year's Psarokokalo ISFF, we present "Idylls of the King" by Markela Kontaratou (@markela_kontaratou). A castle squatter is crowned King, surrounded by stuffed animals and creatures of her imagination. But cracks begin to appear in her sovereignty as traumatic memories of a "Spider-Mother" invade her world.

A cinematic collage of emotions and techniques (including AI animation), developed during the Locarno Spring Academy 2025. A bold exploration of childhood trauma, mental health, and the ultimate quest for an inner Noah’s Ark to peace.
