POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Back in November we sat down with @_katiebone_ and learned all about what life with Type 1 is like for her as a professional climber, Ninja Warrior Champion and as a young woman.

Katie touched on so many valuable aspects of life with T1D, and is such an inspiration.

Can’t wait for you to see and hear her talk 💪🏼 big thank you to @denverboulderingclub for allowing us to film the interview here, as well as all of the lovely friends who gave their time to help out!

A wrong turn down the right road led two of our volunteers to three puppies in need.
The babies were severely dehydrated, malnourished and crawling in ticks. Once back at the clinic, our vets and techs went straight to work stabilizing them and volunteers removed the ticks from their tiny bodies, fed them and gave them all the loves. The next morning, they traveled on transport to our shelter in Ft. Lupton where an amazing foster family took them in to their care. The following morning the baby boy was struggling to continue. He was brought directly to the shelter where our team worked on him through the day. Sadly, the boy in the doorway at the beginning of this video, perished. Our whole team was crushed.
His sisters, however, were doing well and every day they were getting stronger and healthier. Our foster family gave them the love and support they needed most until it was time to see them off to their new homes. We’re so happy to report that both of the girls have since been adopted and are living happy, healthy, loved lives!
The rescue life is hard, emotional, dirty work. Sometimes we see things that are unpleasant and unforgettable. We push through because those little lives need us. All of us.
We give Thanks, every day, for the ability to save these lives. We give Thanks for the staff, fosters, volunteers and donators that help save these lives. We give Thanks for the love of these dogs and cats, puppies and kittens. We give Thanks for all of you that support Soul Dog Rescue.
Our warmest wishes for a happy holiday and our many Thanks for your continued support.
Thank you to Doug Hill and Sarah Dathe for the photos and videos of these sweet soul’s rescue, foster and adoption. ❤️

Congratulations to @dylan.leonard (who is creating @breakinglimitsfilm ) for a successful interview with @_katiebone_

Though my role was the audio recordist, I always have a camera on my side 😂. Here a little bts of the crew working diligently to bring the production of life.

Grateful to have been a part of a production that brought so much talent together. Thanks for making the connection happen @freddywinter
