What you’re seeing is more than a field—it’s hope growing.

As food prices continue to rise, too many people are facing an impossible choice: pay the rent or put healthy food on the table. No one should have to choose between housing and nourishment.

That’s why we do this work. Every row planted is an investment in healthier communities, local food security, and a future where everyone has access to fresh, clean food.

Come visit the farm, see where your food is grown, meet the farmers, and support local agriculture.

👊🏽Clean Food is the Law.

Over the past year, Dr. Chidi (BCCC member) has been diligently working to invite delegates from the African continent and the Caribbean to participate in the Diaspora Conference. As members of the BCCC, we were honored to contribute our perspectives on safety and the justice system as they pertain to the Black community in Toronto. The conference, held at City Hall, coincided with Emancipation Day, marking a significant occasion. We also heard about Igbo traditional Marriages. During the event, we learned that the Government of Canada announced several commitments to address the needs of Black communities across the country. These commitments involved collaborative efforts with community organizations to drive positive change. On February 7, 2024, the Prime Minister further extended the federal government’s support initiatives until 2028, reaffirming the commitment to advancing these important goals. #idpadcanada #bccctoronto
