💙 Blue Friendship Stack 💙

Thank you @jess_lovesreading and @rainydaybookcorner for tagging me in the blue friendship stack - I loved both of yours so wanted to try my own and what better way to show off my beautiful blue flowers I got from my pal @stacksandstories !

I’ve had this account a year now and I was so nervous when I first made it. I remember feeling like everyone already knew each other and had formed their own little friendship groups on here… how wrong I was because the bookstagram community is the most welcoming bunch of people from all over the world!

If you do feel a little like how I did at first though, my biggest piece of advice would be just to talk to people on here! Got a favourite account which gave you the inspiration to start your own? Like, comment and engage with their content! Replying to people’s stories and chatting about books and life is how I made and continue to make so many friendships on here.

I just love how many people I’ve connected with from all over the world that I wouldn’t have had the chance to know otherwise! I’d love to mention some of my favourites but I know I’d end up forgetting someone so… you know who you are 💙

👱‍♀️Taylor Swift - a debut novel you love: When I Ran Away - this was a wonderful debut which dealt with some tough themes in a really beautiful way.

🦁 Fearless - a novel with a courageous main character: The Four Winds - Elsa and her family’s struggle for survival during dangerous times was so moving.

🔉 Speak Now - a character you loved seeing grow up: Malibu Rising - Nina 🥺Her character growth was amazing and I loved seeing what a strong women she became.

❤️‍🩹 Red - a book that made you feel the entire range of emotions: It Ends With Us - I’m still constantly thinking about it. If you’ve read it you’ll know you get the ENTIRE range of emotions reading this one!

🗓 1989 - a book that was published in your birth year:
I don’t have one?! Sorry 😝

💪🏼 Reputation - a character that took control of their narrative: In ACOMAF, Feyre really changed her situation and I couldn’t have loved her more for it.

❤️‍🔥 Lover - your favourite book couple: Tbh my absolute favourite book couple will ALWAYS be Feysand but a strong second goes to Olive and Adam from The Love Hypothesis. So cute!

🌜 Folklore - a book that you loved that’s not typically a genre you read: Fighting Chance - not sure if this counts but this autobiography changed my life (not to be dramatic) but it was wonderful and I don’t know how I would have got through a tough time without it.

🍁 Evermore - a book that will always be your favourite: The Great Alone - I’ll never stop banging on about this one. I think I even prefer it to The Nightingale?! Such an amazing, heartbreaking story that really resonated with me. I can’t wait to re-read it one day 💞

🎃October Bookstack 🎃

Fall is my favourite season, cold weather, warm coats and fluffy scarf are my love language! I’ve been reading spooky romance books filled with witches, ghosts and folklore and I’m loving them all! I had my last fish and chips of the season yesterday, with the wind blowing through my freshly cut curls. And now I’m looking forward to thanksgiving and Halloween delicacies!

What food or beverage are you looking forward to for Autumn? Personally, it’s my favourite type of hot chocolate. The spicy dark and stormy kind with a dash of alcohol to warm up your tummy and a sprinkle of spice to tingle your tongue!
