POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This is idv.iris – and we are bringing her to Art Island!

idv.iris (Iris de Vries) makes her work accessible by inviting you not only to look at it, but also to touch it. By bringing together much of the same, she transforms something recognisable into something alienating. She plays with the idea of efficiency and how our attempts at it inevitably fail.

Take the boat to Forteiland IJmuiden with us and visit @artislandamsterdam on 22, 23 or 24 May. This Art Fair creates a special presentation of 17 artists. Info & tickets: art-island.nl

This Art Fair is coming to Art Island! We are Special Guests at this adventurous art fair, where we will be showcasing the diverse work of 17 artists.

The artists have all participated in previous editions of This Art Fair, and together they represent what we stand for: celebrating the art of today in all its facets!

Among other things, you can expect a number of projects that are perfectly suited to the narrow corridors and old powder magazines of the historic Forteiland IJmuiden. Hannah Meijer digs tunnels in wood just like a bark beetle; Tara-Eva Kuijpers Wentink draws inspiration from the underground network of fungal roots. Clementine Oomes' primitive spaces allude to the camps where her mother was imprisoned during World War II.

Take the boat to @artislandamsterdam on May 22, 23, or 24! You can find more info and get your tickets at art-island.nl

GLUE is not just a route.
It’s a movement.

Designers opening their studios.
Visitors crossing the city.
Conversations unfolding in doorways.
Ideas travelling from one space to the next.

For three days, Utrecht moves differently.
Not because of objects — but because of people.

This is what happens when a community shows up.
Together.

Be part of it.
