Pipestone is sacred. It has been sacred for generations, long before the state of Minnesota existed, long before pipelines and corporations began carving up the land for profit. On November 5th, the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission will hear testimony and vote on the proposed Magellan pipeline project in Pipestone, Minnesota. We are calling on our relatives, allies, and community members to show up and stand with us. For generations, our people have traveled to Pipestone to gather the sacred stone used in our pipes and ceremonies. This is not simply another piece of land that can be bought, sold, or sacrificed for corporate interests. It is a living place of prayer, cultural responsibility, and connection to our ancestors and future generations. We have a responsibility to protect it. At 9:00 AM, we will gather outside the PUC building in prayer with ceremony, the IPM drum, and speakers before entering the hearing at 10:00 AM. We need our people in that room. We need the commissioners to see that the decisions they make have consequences far beyond a permit or a pipeline route. Our sacred places are not expendable, and the continued destruction of Indigenous lands cannot be justified in the name of economic development. Thursday, November 5, 2026 Prayer Circle: 9:00 AM PUC Hearing: 10:00 AM Minnesota Public Utilities Commission 121 Seventh Place East, Suite 350 Saint Paul, MN 55101 We have fought to protect Pipestone before, and we will continue to fight for it. This is what it means to carry responsibility to the land and to those who will come after us. Bring your relatives. Bring your voices. Come stand with us. No pipeline at Pipestone. Defend the sacred.

Oppose the “Bipartisan American Affordability and Jobs Act” (BAAJA). 👎❌ Lawmakers say they need to cut through the “red tape” so Big Business can build projects of any kind faster, like data centers 🤖. But what they really want is to strip away protections that keep our drinking water clean, our families safe, and our utility bills affordable. We are not red tape. ❌ Our health, our livelihoods, and our neighborhoods come before corporate profits. This is a dirty deal. 🌻 The so-called “Bipartisan American Affordability and Jobs Act” (BAAJA) is scheduled for a vote in the Senate on November 9, 2026. If passed into law, this bill would weaken environmental protections and our rights. 🚫 📞 Call your Senators today! The Indigenous Peoples most affected by climate crisis should have decision making power when it comes to climate change solutions. Despite increased representation in Arctic Circle Assembly and other international forums, Indigenous Peoples' voices are still being pushed aside in order for fossil fuel expansion to continue. #ArcticOverProfit #DefendTheSacred

The Indigenous Peoples most affected by climate crisis should have decision making power when it comes to climate change solutions. However, international forums are being corporate captured in order to push geoengineering experiments on Indigenous lands, while extractive industries continue to seek opportunities for expansion. #DefendTheSacred #ArcticOverProfit

"Self-determination should not mean self destruction..." IEN's Geoengineering Outreach Organizer, Aakaluk A. Blatchford, stood outside the Harpa convention center during Arctic Circle Assembly to call out the dangerous schemes being proposed in order to continue fossil fuel extraction. It's time for an Indigenous Just Transition away from extraction, not new markets which allow business as usual to continue. #DefendTheSacred

On #IndigenousPeoplesDay, we do more than celebrate, we rise together. Every day, Indigenous Peoples lead the way as protectors of land, water, air, and all that is sacred. Our voices, traditions, and resistance are woven into the fabric of justice and healing. We honor the ancestors and uplift the next generation, standing strong against systems that threaten our sovereignty. Today and every day, we defend, restore, and reconnect our relationship with Mother Earth. #DefendTheSacred #ProtectTheSacred
