✈️💙 Wings for Autism 🩵

@iflyfresno was honored to host such a meaningful event today. Wings for Autism gives children with autism the opportunity to experience the airport and the process of flying in a safe, supportive environment, helping them become more familiar and comfortable with air travel.

Just as importantly, it gives parents the opportunity to see how their children navigate the experience and feel more confident in deciding when their family may be ready to fly.

HONOR FLIGHT 36 TAKES OFF: Thanks to the generosity of Valley donors 69 local veterans are headed to Washington, D.C. to visit memorials built in their honor.
Dozens of veterans alongside their guardians received a warm send-off from the Fresno Yosemite International Airport on Monday morning. The three-day journey a trip of a lifetime at no cost to Valley heroes.

After having to cancel several trips in the past month due to health issues, missing an engagement party, a wedding, and having to DNS several races, I’m happy to finally be traveling to Wichita, Kansas for the 50 States Half Marathon Club Annual Meetup and the Prairie Fire Half Marathon! Please keep me in your prayers as I travel and especially for the race on Sunday (which I will have to walk since the cancer is kicking my butt right now and I’m unable to run). 🙏

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and many law enforcement agencies wear these pink patches on their uniforms in support. Thanks to Fresno Airport Police Officer Mendoza, I was able to obtain one of those patches today! 💕 Thank you very much for your kindness! 😊
