From the archives: looking down at the Point and the vibrant fall foliage. Hopefully Pittsburgh gets the same level of color this year....

On the way back to my place the other day I figured I’d stop at good ole Cathy and snag a few photos. What a cool building it is. #pittsburgh #universityofpittsburgh #pgh #usa #autumn

Stop No. 70- Bakersfield. Pittsburgh, PA. @bakersfieldpenn

On a rainy day like today, comfort foods can’t be beat. Tacos are some of my favorite comfort foods and Bakersfield down on Penn Ave are some of my favorites.

First and foremost, what a drink selection they have there. So many different tequilas and bourbons, there is something there for you. I opted for a rye old fashioned and it was extremely good.

Taco wise, they are delicious. They aren’t the biggest tacos so eating 3 or 4 of them isn’t some crazy feat. Pictured here are the Baja Shrimp, Short Rib, Al Pastor, and Pollo Rojo tacos. My favorite is easily the Baja Shrimp. All of them are great though.

Also pictured is the salsa trio to start. Great salsa with 3 distinct different flavor profiles.

Overall, Bakersfield is great! Such a good spot to stop in when you’re out on the town to grab some drinks and some tacos! Onto the next one! #food #tacos #pgh #goodeats #pittsburgh

“Always appreciate the gift of life. Be happy and have fun!” -Michael Jackson.
Last night I went down and rode the Ferris Wheel on the Roberto Clemente Bridge and I have to admit it’s sketchy but my god is it fun! Worth checking out for sure before it’s gone again till next year! I took some awesome photos from the top but I’m going to save those for next week! #pittsburgh #pgh #usa #autumn #oktoberfest

I know this is the third year of the Ferris Wheel being down on the Roberto Clemente Bridge but it’s just a shocking thing to see! I love it. #pittsburgh #pgh #usa #oktoberfest #autumn
