What a year it has been so far. Took @basilisk.audio down to Tennessee to work @soundhavenfestival and got to experience 4 monster rigs, but not without making a pit stop to help @djcosmicbitch get set for the great beyond. Bummed I didn’t get to hang around and get learnt on real techno - guess I gotta wait another year.

Had a little break in between fests to cook more tunes and get the @sublabsound rig out for a handful of shows in the Twin Cities, but it was off to infrasound for a squeeze of a build not too long after. Infra deserves a separate recap post entirely, so stay tuned for a post from Harmony Park.

To the friends I have met throughout the year this far, thank you for your time, your patience, and your energy. I feel incredibly grateful to be surrounded by so many mentors.

Sound Haven 2026… year 8 of this incredible gathering and it only continues to get better every time. It’s always so surreal watching everything come together after endless hours and months of planning. This year was truly special and I’m already craving to be back home at Jaceland.

We strive to push the limits each year with bigger sound systems, more lasers, more art, and more improvements to enhance the comfortability and experience. It’s incredibly challenging to pull this off as an independent promoter and it takes a lot out of me and our team. But there truly is no better feeling than hearing all the feedback from attendees about how this festival changed their life, how they met strangers that became life-long friends, how they met the love of their life, got engaged here or had an experience that inspired them to chase their dreams & passions. Over half of the fans this year had never attended Sound Haven, and hearing from so many that it was their new favorite festival means everything to us after how much we put in to make it happen.

Huge shoutout to our wonderful staff, artists, vendors, production teams, art install crews, performers, media, medical teams, Jace, our partners @kouchkollective & @thewobblefactory, my family, my love @jackieedurham for rocking with me through it all, and everyone who helped bring this vision to life. Most of all, shoutout to the community that shows up ready to have an amazing time with us year after year. We’re already thinking about ways to take it to the next level.

We’ll see you back at Jaceland in 2027 🛸

Sound Haven photo dump. First Sound Haven I have ever been to. I absolutely loved it. Big shout out to my boy Isaiah for the invite out to come work production crew on this one. We camped for 10 nights in the TN hills, 3 days of build, 4 days of music, and another day to tear down.

I met so many talented and passionate people down there. It was really cool to be surrounded by so much love for what we do, all around. Every person I spoke with who was there working had great things to say about Sound Haven, most of them had been attending / working since the beginning or multiple years. Every attendee I talked to also had nothing but good things to say, the most common thing I heard was probably “this is my favorite festival, but don’t tell anyone!”

Well, sorry, I’m telling people about it lol.

If you’ve ever been curious about making the trip to check it out, I highly recommend you do so. If you love massive and CLEAN sound systems, good music, and late nights… this is the place to be.

Big ups to all the artists who came to throw down, out to Sacred Hive, Jace, Sound System Cultures / IGG, Antic Studios, Coherent Designs, Continuum Productions, Music Matters, Xeno Productions, Kouch Kollective, SubCulture Audio, JW Sound, Future Antique & the Paraflex crews at the Crash Site. Shout out to Joe, Joey, Franklin, Jorge, Cody, Mason, all the INSANELY TALENTED VJs, the catering crew keeping us fed, all the vendors, the fire performers and clown dancers, and everyone else who came and made it happen.

Would absolutely love to do it again next year. 🤟

I want to give my boy Garett a special shout out. I’ve known him since I first began really going to raves, in 2020. Back then neither of us were working events, just going to them and spending way too much money on alcohol 😂

These days he’s a V2 / VJ and he’s absolutely killing it. He ran more sets at Sound Haven than any other VJ this year. He did all of them live, and they were all sick as fuck. Getting to see him run visuals for Distinct Motive at the Planetary and so many others on the UFO was insanely cool. He also took the time to teach me a lit
