A love letter (and absolutely not comprehensive) to my favs in Mexico City. If I had 36 hours, these are the spots I beeline to.

LUIS BARRAGAN STUDIO: One of my all-time fav architects’ house has been turned into a museum. Buy tickets in advance, and purchase a photo pass—the colors, composition, minimalism + impact are incredible.

REFORMA AVE + BOSQUE DE CHAPULTEPEC: On Sundays Reforma shuts down to traffic, and you’ll find bikers, runners, walkers all out and about. Grab a coffee and walk towards Chapultepec and explore the largest park in the city.

SUNRISE: Find a tall floor and watch the sunrise over the surrounding mountains. Or better yet, commit to the sunrise hot air balloon trip.
