This is my only full band show this summer with The Strong Arms (@timthesoundman @lstockner @scotty_totty_) and I’m beyond thrilled to be playing with @laybournmusic and @delvoxmusic. I first discovered Amy and her music while playing open mics around Seattle, and we both had similar stories — coming back to music after some time away.

best pride weekend ever!!

thank you @d_chewee and max for the great privilege of getting to witness your beautiful union. it was such a heartfelt day full of tears of joy, love, healing, and hope for the future.

maraming salamat to @sariwafarm , @omzseven , zoe and rizzo for hosting us, feeding us and filling us with so much creative inspiration. it was such a joy eating and singing with you all at your wonderful home.

@a.samson.manalo - thank you for one of the best lunches i’ve ever had at kilig in seattle.

lastly, im not sure how i got so damn lucky in this world to find my @bindlestiff_sf fam. the roots of this collective runs deep, built by years and years of creative vision rooted in being of service to our community and each other. thank you to the OG’s for laying down this foundation and for holding us close despite the many challenges that test us. 30+ years as a volunteer run arts org in one of the most expensive cities in the world, let alone the only filipino-american black box theater in the country, could not be possible without the love and magic that came before us and the commitment to keep it going by those who come after us. thank you for all the legacy, tradition, chismis and love! never give up! ♾️

LYLESTYLES PARA SA MASA: A FUNDRAISER CONCERT

In designing this shirt artist Dino Ignacio writes:
“Capturing Lyle’s spirit in this piece was a complex and deliberate process. It was essential to convey the warmth of his kind eyes and the openness of his smile, but equally important to reflect his unwavering commitment to equity and his tireless advocacy for those most marginalized. To express this duality, I used jagged, angular lines that evoke his passion and conviction, set in contrast against the softness of his expression, mirroring the balance he embodied: compassion paired with fierce determination.

Building on this, I designed a modern brutalist interpretation of Baybayin to reflect the urgency of his message. The glyphs read “Makibaka. Huwag matakot.”... a rallying cry of the movement that translates to “Fight. Don’t be afraid.” Lyle’s image is overlaid on the Philippine sun, symbolizing how, even in the deep pain of losing him, his light continues to guide us toward courage, collective struggle, and the hope of a brighter tomorrow.”
