And before your beautiful brain even utters the thought… No.. It’s absolutely NOT too early. And if you think it is , meet me at the school yard , 3pm. Bring bandaids.

It’s taken me a second to process this past weekend. I’ve prayed for this type of experience since I started on my journey acting 14 years ago. I have so much to say and so much gratitude to express, to so many people. But I truly need to thank God. Thank you for making me wait. I didn’t understand it for a while, but I do now. I needed to experience the roller coaster that was the last 14 years to responsibly appreciate what all of this means. If you’re struggling chasing a dream, and it feels so far away.. it’s not, time flies, life is short— you might not be ready for it, yet….but I promise, take a leap of faith and stick with it, that dream is right there on the other side. The journey you get to go on getting there is worth the person you get to become. The journeys what life is all about. Thank you @canticle_productions for the incredible weekend and the extraordinary movie. Thanks @jbrocktonholbert for your kindness and friendship. Thank you Dan for giving me this beautiful character and allowing me to share the screen with the great @bayleetoney.clo and @strange.robert. Thank you to all the wonderful people in North Dakota who have embraced this story and came to support. Thank you God for this journey. I’m so excited for whatever you have in store next ❤️. #godislove

Last week we filmed my short film ALMOST in New York. It was my first time directing (a dream come true) and I’m happy to report I felt completely in my element.

With a small but incredibly dedicated and passionate crew, we brought this almost-love story to life one shot at a time. I’m beyond grateful for everyone who gave their time, heart, and energy to this project.

To anyone sitting on an idea, waiting for the “right” moment or the perfect opportunity — don’t. It may never come packaged the way you expect.

Start where you are, with what you have. Take the risk. Make the thing. You’ll surprise yourself.

ALMOST will be coming soon. Stay tuned…
