I did Your Shot and all I got were awesome friends and cherished memories!! Never doing it again!!!

It’s been a month since one of the craziest weekends of my life, and I’m still so grateful for the opportunity to share the music that has shaped so much of who I am today with such open minded talented people..,,,,,

To EVERYONE I’ve had the pleasure of meeting through this whole experience…

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

In particular,

@rayn.aus and @auntie.munnie for birthing us all 🙏

@komarie.mp3 - you asking to play DDR together straight after our first class caught me so off guard but I’m so glad you did, it made me so happy finding another rhythm gamer in Your Shot and I can’t believe our first time meeting was outside of the arcade.. you always included me and without you I definitely wouldn’t have felt as confident in meeting new people 🥹🥹

@suha.mp3 - you should be so proud of yourself, it made me so happy to see you get more confident in both your mixing and stage presence over the weeks and watching you refuse to give up seriously inspired me in more ways than you’d imagine. Keep it up!! With your attitude, you will do so much cool shit and I’m ready to keep showing up for you 🐐

…. I’m so excited to sit down with everyone again and hear how far they’ve taken themselves in the future 😇

Heart is full

It's so hard to put into words what these people have come to mean to me over the last 2.5 months! The love, support and belief got me from the overwhelming start to the spectacular finale of this competition. I won the best thing ever - new friends who cheer me on and embrace me ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I've found some super kind souls, who give some of the best hugs 🤗 and it's honestly been the best thing about @yourshotau !
I'm so incredibly proud of all that we achieved and so glad that we'll get to keep mixing music and tearing up dance floors together.

@darley.dj and @vincydel thankyou from the bottom of my heart for being the best teachers and sharing all your wisdom, knowledge, kindness and all your hugs ❤️
@bowers.ltd thanks for your advice and support at booth hire at the 11th hour
@markpellegrini thanks for your advice and supportive words - definitely going to organise my music better 😁

To everyone I didn't manage to get a photo with, know that I say these words to you too!!!

Post Covid, the last 5 years have been full of amazing memories but also the feeling of “where did time go?”. Our lives naturally shift towards our career and future responsibilities, which mind you is a great thing, I just still wonder where time has gone. I decided to pick up a hobby, a creative outlet, something I’ve always wanted to do - music.
@yourshotau caught my eye, and 3 months ago I decided to sign up and learn how to Dj. The journey has been amazing to learn a new skill, makes me feel like a kid again, plus meeting so many great people who are now friends.

A special shoutout to the one person who supports me through everything, my beautiful fiancée 🫶🏻 and the most amazing group of friends who showed up for me, you have no idea how much it means ❤️

Here’s to having more life out of life.
