🇯🇲🎉 WE DID IT! FOUR SCHOOLS. FOUR AIR CONDITIONERS. FUNDING GOAL ACHIEVED!

We are thrilled to share a major milestone for the Jamaica School Recovery & Renewal Initiative: we have successfully raised the funds for all four air conditioners!

And the impact is already taking shape.

✅ Two air conditioners have been purchased and delivered to Spot Valley High School and Cambridge Infant School.

➡️ Two more air conditioners to be delivered as we continue fulfilling our commitment to all four schools.

To everyone who donated, shared our appeal, made connections, and encouraged us along the way — THANK YOU! ❤️ Your generosity has helped turn a shared vision into tangible action.

But our vision extends beyond air conditioners. We are working toward a broader school recovery and renewal effort that includes solar energy, classroom technology, books, and library resources to strengthen learning environments for Jamaica’s children.

Four air conditioners funded. Two schools reached. One shared vision for a brighter future. 🇯🇲

Follow our journey as we continue this work, one school at a time.

🇯🇲 $1050 RAISED - AND WE’RE KEEPING THE MOMENTUM GOING!

In less than 24 hours, our community helped us reach $450. Now, we’ve grown that support to $1050 within a week.❤️

That means we have fully funded two A/C units and on our way to the third.

Our goal is $2,100 for four 24,000 BTU A/C units — one for each of four schools in Western Jamaica:

📍 Cambridge Infant School — St. James
📍 Mount Carey Infant School — St. James
📍 Spot Valley High School — St. James
📍 Mount Ward Primary School — Hanover

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has donated, shared the campaign, connected us to others, and helped move this effort forward.

And we’re excited to welcome two new community partners:

🤝 @ignitechangeja
🤝 @ywop.ymop

Thank you for joining us in helping restore comfortable learning environments for Jamaica’s children.

We’re just $1050 away from fully funding the last two A/Cs.

🇯🇲 🇯🇲 One School. One A/C. Restore Comfortable Learning Environments.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa, many schools in Western Jamaica are still rebuilding. I’m proud to be working with @youthsforexcellence to help restore comfortable learning environments for students and teachers at four schools:

📍 Cambridge Infant School, St. James
📍 Mount Carey Infant School, St. James
📍 Spot Valley High School, St. James
📍 Mount Ward Primary School, Hanover

🏫 4 Schools. 4 A/C Units. $2,100 Goal.

Thanks to the generous support of @dunnsjamaica, each A/C unit is available to us at a discounted cost of $525. That means $525 can sponsor an entire unit for one school, but donations of any amount are welcome!

This is just the beginning of our broader restoration initiative, which includes solar power systems, library technology, and books.

Led by @youthsforexcellence in partnership with @samuelsconstruction__ and @dunnsjamaica , we’re bringing together partners in Jamaica and the diaspora to turn recovery into renewal. 💚

Please consider donating and sharing with your networks!

As we prepare for the 2nd Annual 2026 Northeast USA Jamaica Diaspora Conference, we carry that same spirit forward: love Jamaica. Invest in Jamaica. Build Jamaica. 🇯🇲

The Global Jamaica Diaspora Biennial Conference was a powerful reminder of just how much love exists for Jamaica across the diaspora—and how many people are ready to turn that love into action. From economic development and agriculture to education, community development, and rebuilding, the commitment to Jamaica’s future was clear.

As Jamaica continues to rebuild after Hurricane Melissa, that spirit of unity and action matters more than ever. We are proud to stand alongside @ignitechangeja to support Mount Alvernia Primary School.

One Diaspora. One Vision. Advancing Jamaica Together.
