One of the best parts about teaching is witnessing the growth and progression of your students over time.

The stage is only a tiny snapshot of the countless hours of hard work, dedication and perseverance that happens behind the scenes. I am so proud of every one of my students, not only for their performances but for their commitment to the process and the progress they continue to make. It is a privilege to be even a small part of their journey.

Congratulations to every dancer who performed at RAD Festival 2026 and a huge thank you to the incredible team who make this event happen each year - you’re all the best! 🫶🏻🩰

🎭 Celebrating Performing Arts in Joondalup! It was a pleasure to recently host representatives from our thriving performing arts community, alongside Deputy Mayor Cr Adrian Hill, for a special Elected Member evening.

The evening provided a valuable opportunity for networking and the exchange of ideas, with local musicians, producers, educators, and cultural leaders coming together to share knowledge, challenges, and hopes for the future of performing arts and culture in the City of Joondalup. Conversations reflected a collective passion for fostering creative collaboration, increasing access to performance opportunities, and building a stronger support system for emerging and established talent. It was clear that our cultural community is not only rich in talent but united in its vision to see Joondalup grow as a vibrant hub for the performing arts.

The evening included a tour of the new City of Joondalup - Contemporary Art Gallery, where we explored Light Source — a stunning exhibition from the City’s art collection that delves into the creative use of light.

Joondalup’s performing arts scene continues to grow — be sure to support our local performers by attending upcoming shows and events. 🌟

RAD Festival of Dance 2025 🩰

Grateful to have placed third in the 13-15 years classical group C amongst the most amazing talented group of dancers. Thank you to @lisapavane for your adjudication, @blochau for the voucher and @royalacademyofdanceaustralia for such a great event! Loved performing this beautiful chorey by Miss Holly @ignitedancewa and just as special was dancing in this stunning traditional tutu made by my mum (her first tutu)💙

An incredible weekend, big thank you to @ignitedancewa for being so amazing! - you are so special to me and I appreciate everything you do for me. Another big shout out to @thegraduatecollegeofdance and Mr Coppen for your training and support in helping me prepare for this weekend, I am so incredibly grateful 🙏
