I keep hearing “you don’t rap anymore” so I had to show otherwise on my brother @old_orleans new project #UncleRoyAndFriends2 along with my dawg @jerrardjuhrard over some @iamtrox drums. Salute everybody involved with this body of work…yall all got to work! I still don’t see myself on the cover so I haven’t officially cleared my vocals. Ima send out the cease and desist project take down once we get a million streams.

Man I’m excited to share this with yall next Wednesday. I got some of my favorite rap homies together on one project to really just bar up and have fun.

Thank you to the homie @iamtrox for locking in on this with me. It’s dope to see how much community I’ve been able to build as a result of making great music and art with people.

This weekend, RHC took a break from our normal Saturday morning run schedule to attend “Que Quieres Curar?”, a community mental health conversation hosted by @saludchicago at @hostecocktails

Runners High Chicago takes mental health very seriously. Both that of ourselves, as well as that of our community at large. So when Salud dropped an event featuring a stacked lineup of Latino mental health professionals for the community - addressing the reality of the sociopolitical climate we’re living today - we felt it not only aligned with the beliefs of Runners High, but was also necessary to put running on hold for a day to be in attendance for this conversation.

Kudos to Dr. Camacho and the entire Salud team for curating this conversation that touched on so many important cultural themes, and for lifting up the voices of these incredible mental health professionals and panelists. Each of their stories resonated with us, and we’re proud to be in community with them and see ourselves represented in the future of the mental health field.

Huge shoutout to our friends @codigoverdeoficial for starting off the program with an amazing musical performance, and for speaking about all you do to highlight our culture through music and inspire the next generation of artists to do the same!

And thank you to @pochos_chicago for the hospitality in welcoming Team Runners High Chi to dine with you afterward. Always incredible food and impeccable service when we visit!

And last but not least, thank you to the people who make this community we call Runners High Chi what it is! What started as a run club has honestly become what feels like family. We’ve not only run together; we’ve laughed together, cried together, picked up trash together, supported one another together, celebrated together, mourned together, grown together, and done so much more over the past 3+ years..together! And for all of that, we’re truly grateful!!! Community is the most important pillar of Runners High Chi!
