Okay SO

I've been very interested in ancient grain and freshly milled flour for years. Especially since @ad.astra.bread.co
took us to @gristandtoll and to meet @roxanajullapat, the LA queen of grain, summer before we opened on Alvarado.

Now I'm finally spending some time running trials on pastries with freshly milled flours.

I'm actively working on healing and calming my nervous system.
Which combines very well with a back to mother earth vibe. If only I had the energy to get the garden going again too. 😅

And once I get a cottage kitchen license I can sell baked goods using my freshly milled flours to whoever wants 'em which is very fun. But maybe not until next summer because I'm waiting very patiently for my mill. 🤓

These are puff pastry with Einkorn and Sonora from Grist and Toll.

I made these with bk sausage and eggs cuz Kyle likes breakfast. And I'm nice, occasionally.
