I really didn’t feel like I had a lot of friends when I came there.
But I met a lot of heartfull friends, went to parties, and became part of the community.
It sounds so simple when you write it down, but I realized how difficult it is to blend into a community in a foreign country with an unfamiliar language, and at the same time, I learned how fun it can be.
I came in there not knowing what I was doing, and I learned from my friends
Thank you for being the like my family .
I love you always ❤️

Of course I was gonna name my piece after Gabriel García Marquéz’s last quote from Love in the Times of Cholera — ¿Y hasta cuándo cree usted que podemos seguir en este ir y venir del carajo? (And how long do you think we can continue in this goddamn coming and going?)
