@laylannous

And while you’re at work I wanted to appreciate you for locking in with me on this journey and giving me a chance to live out my dream and make it a reality. I love you and thank you so much.

You were really awesome yesterday at @gritcamp2025 and you’re killing it on in patient right now. I got dinner tonight. I could’ve sent this last part in a text 😭

Thanks for checking in.

#WeekInReview

Short version: It’s getting cold outside but it feels like the spring of my life.

I could post a bunch of my workouts and what not, but you’ve already seen those, I’ve been pretty consistent with sharing my fitness journey this week. But as most of you know through DMs, I’m always willing to help out or answer any questions.

Had Grit Camp II last Saturday and it was a really good learning experience as well overall time. While everyone who was there enjoyed it, it was a great opportunity for me to see how it fits into what I’m building here at @merrittfoundfit .

With that being said, I’m a person that needs small wins to keep me going, I’ve read enough self help books and watched enough YouTube videos to know that the dopamine hits you get from small wins can pus you through the toughest times. And I feel like times get uncomfortable when everything around you is forcing you to grow and change and you are resisting it. So we look forward to new wins, new growth opportunities, and new manners in which we can be the community presence we promised ourselves to be.

I also got to connect with a few smart trainers over the week and through one conversation with @bodbyshaad , I was able to connect some dots that others had told me was the key for a long time. With a renewed sense of direction, Merritt Foundational Fitness is coming into 2026 with a new and unique model of training that will force you to build your foundation to be enduring, strong, and mobile.

I tend to be a yapper and I need not speak on everything I want to build and grow, I just want as many people who want to genuinely be apart of this process the kind of access I would appreciate.

Grit Camp III: The Harvest is in the works. Stay tuned. And lastly and I want to ask you a simple question: when was the last time you actually pushed yourself past your perceived stopping point? Think about it for a while.

PS. No memes to share in this one but we know what time of year it is. Great first win of the season by the @nyknicks let’s get number two tonight against the Feltics. And check out @bodbyshaad ‘s podcast it has gems in there for us all.
