Moments, Milestones, and Memories ✨ BLSA 🤎 From Barristers Ball to the MBLA Gala, these events were a reminder of the power of community, excellence, and the paths we’re creating together. We were honored to celebrate Hon. Serge Georges Jr. at the gala and grateful for the moments in between that made it all special. #BLSA #UMassLaw #MBLA #BarristersBall #BlackExcellence FutureBlackLawyers

✨ One of the greatest takeaways from our Afternoon of Affirmation was hearing our BBGs share how inspired they were by our keynote speaker, Brooklyn Jones, and guest panelists Layla Ryans and Sanaa Jackson. 💕 Their transparency, wisdom, and journeys left the girls in awe—encouraged, uplifted, and dreaming bigger. Some BBGs told us they want to sit on panels one day to inspire others. Others reflected on the importance of being part of programs that develop their leadership. And that’s exactly what the BeYOU Project is all about. 💫 We aren’t just giving girls a seat at the table—we’re preparing them to build their own tables and invite others to sit with them. This powerful feedback has inspired us to add a brand-new component to our curriculum: public speaking and presentation skills. 🎤 Just wait until you see what’s in store for our girls this year—it’s only the beginning! 🌟 #BeBold #BoldlyExxeptional #BEYOU #beyoutifulbrowngirlproject #beyoutifulbrowngirl

If we’ve learned anything as an organization, it’s the power of pivoting when the unexpected happens. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Bellen will not be in attendance. However, we are thrilled to announce our new keynote speaker: Brooklynn Jones — a passionate social justice advocate, future wrongful conviction attorney, recent Penn State graduate, proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and incoming law student. Brooklynn truly embodies this year’s theme, Boldly Being Me. We couldn’t be more excited for the wisdom and inspiration she’ll pour into our girls as she shares her journey of resilience, purpose, and pushing through, even when life gets tough. #AfternoonOfAffirmation #BoldlyBeingMe #DearBeautifulBrownGirl #Leadership #Influence #Impact #GirlsWhoLead #YouthVoices #BlackGirlMagic #PowerPanel #MentorshipInMotion #beyoutifulbrowngirl #beyoutiful #beautifulbrowngirl #BeBold #BeExceptional #BeYOU
