Diaa is fighting to walk again while struggling to feed his family of nine.

At 29, he was shot in the leg while trying to find food in Gaza. He has endured multiple surgeries and continues physical therapy, living with constant pain and difficulty walking.

His home is destroyed. His family has been displaced more than seven times. They now live in a tent, with no income and not enough money to meet even their most basic needs.

Imagine fighting to heal your body while not knowing how you’ll feed your family.

I am a young man who suffered a serious leg injury in August, which resulted in the insertion of a metal plate. To this day, I continue to suffer from the effects of this injury. I have undergone surgery and still need another operation, but my financial circumstances and limited resources prevent me from having it.

On November 1st, my family was devastated by the disappearance of my brother, Muhammad. We had no news of him for 30 days until a released prisoner informed us that my brother was being held by the occupation forces. Furthermore, our house was demolished by the occupation, exacerbating our psychological and financial hardship.

Due to these difficult circumstances, I have become the sole provider for my family, despite my own health problems. I am living in dire conditions that are beyond my capacity to endure, and I am appealing to you for help and support, hoping that you will extend a helping hand to me during this difficult time.
