CLOSE YOUR EYES AND LISTEN 😉

Sanitizer pump. Elevator ding. Doors swing open. Paws on tile. 🐾

To most people it’s just background noise. To a kid at Driscoll Children’s Hospital, it means the therapy dogs are on their way. 💙

Turn your sound on so you can hear what they hear 🔊

TRAINING NEVER STOPS!
🐾 Workin’ 9 to 5 (well, more like PetSmart to Natural Grocers)! 🐾

This week the LivingWay Therapy Dog Team hit the aisles for some real-world training. Exposure to new environments is such a huge part of what makes our dogs ready to serve — different people, other animals, unfamiliar smells, unexpected sounds, busy carts and crowded corners.

Training is a never-ending process, but the more reps they get, the calmer and more confident they become. That’s exactly what allows them to walk into hospitals, schools, and churches with steady, loving presence when it matters most.

So grateful for our incredible handlers who show up for every session, big or small. Y’all are the real MVPs. 💛🐕

🐾⚡ PAWSITIVE POWER! ⚡🐾

When life hurts, these heroes show up. ❤️

There’s something beautiful about watching a therapy dog walk into a room and seeing the atmosphere change. A wagging tail. A paw reaching for a hand. A belly waiting for a rub. A quiet moment of comfort. A smile that wasn’t there a few minutes before.

Maybe that’s part of what makes this such a Beautiful Life—showing up for people, loving them right where they are, and using what God has placed in our hands…or in this case, our paws. 🐾❤️

Our Livingway Therapy Dogs love serving the patients, families, nurses, doctors, and staff at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville. Every visit reminds us that something as simple as a little joy, a little love, and a little four-legged companionship can make a difference.

And yes…sometimes ministry looks like “GIVE ME TEN!” ✋🐾, “I NEED BELLY RUBS!” ❤️, or one very sweet little angel. 😇

These may be therapy dogs, but around here we think they’re pretty super. 🦸‍♀️🐕⚡

Healing hearts. Bringing comfort. Spreading joy.
One visit at a time.

SPECIAL THANKS TO THE TEAM OF HANDLERS AND TO OUR ASSISTANT FOR THE DAY ZACH SILVA THAT HANDED OUT ALL THE PUZZLES, STICKERS and TRADING CARDS.

🐾⚡ WHEN LIFE HURTS… THESE HEROES SHOW UP! Another great visit at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville! Our Livingway Therapy Dogs were on a mission, bringing smiles, and a little PAWSITIVE POWER to patients, families, and the incredible hospital staff. ❤️

Genesis, Mila, Midnight, Marley, Lyric, and Waffle suited up and reported for duty. 🦸🐕

And if you’re wondering where Echo, our chocolate Lab, was…Echo is currently on PAID LEAVE. Her compensation package includes lots of treats, naps, belly rubs, and unlimited access to the backyard. 😂 She’ll be back when management determines she is sufficiently rested (not in heat) and ready to return to superhero duty.

Sometimes ministry looks like a prayer. Sometimes it looks like a conversation. And sometimes it has four paws and a wagging tail. ❤️

⚡🐾 And keep watch… our Therapy Dog SUPERHERO REEL is coming soon! You’re going to want to see these heroes in action. 🦸🐕💥

Healing hearts. Bringing comfort. Changing lives. Powered by love. ❤️🐾

The world is filled with beautiful things. Sometimes our circumstances narrow our vision, but healing begins when we look up and allow ourselves to see the beauty that has been there all along. 🐾❤️🐾
