If you want something to be fast and cheap, it may not be good. I learned that the hard way. If you want something fast and good, it won’t be cheap. I definitely got that lesson.
So over the years, I’ve had to make decisions when it was my art; decisions to commit to what I really wanted. It was a time to commit to the time because this wasn’t a ball outta control season while crafting this project. There were dark days, tough moments, and real life in the mix of everything while cooking the beats, to writing the lyrics, to playing every instrument that you hear on this project. All this was done from 2021 when I recorded the 1st song for this project, to the one that completed the tracklist in 2025. I wanna shout my bros out; Just The Homie, Retro Starkey, ii Trx, Kurt Kurt. The alley oops with some of the lyrics on W$H, to the vocal engineering genius heard in ‘Right Way’ and ‘I.S.T.A.Y.’ I love where my mind’s at on these instruments, thank God he made me find my own sound. I wasn’t around anyone during this time trying to take in extra vibes from here and there. I did however get to learn on my day job; touring here and there. I’ll never let that factor be unknown, because I learned from the greats in that hemisphere, but between those years I said earlier, lonely days turned into research and study. Those days yielded understanding and practice. Which allows for me to see days like this, application and demonstration. So this is 15 minutes of a body of work that has sponged up a lot of moments that motivated me to write. I know I’ve actually had a great time during every session, and meetings that crafted HONDA7.0. So it technically wasn’t cheap, but wasn’t fast either. I’m totally fine with it being good thooooo. Enjoy!

*LONG POST*

This year 2024 felt like 3 years in 1.
2024 taught me how to let go and literally let God. I struggled so hard with depression, anxiety, self doubt and soooo much more from the past 2 years that it semi bled into this year but, God! Did I fight my way out of it, and honestly I’m still fighting. I never do a recap of my year but! This one deserves it because , it’s my “Jesus” year and also my introduction of the woman I’m becoming…. This year I build new relationships, professionally & personally that I knew were possible but , at first … I felt as though I wasn’t equipped or deserving enough to handle any of them, Until I kept having a particular dream and it one night woke me up out my sleep at 2:21am (which is birthday 2/21 ) telling me to stop silencing my “Vishuddha” , it’s as if the voice screamed it in my ear because, my left ear was ringing .I didn’t know what “vishuddha” meant so that night I googled it because, it literally scared the mess out of me😂😂😩. Vishuddha means “ throat” chakra. I’m not big on numbers or any of the chakras for that matter but, I am big on God & my own relationship with the most high and although I’m far from perfect… I know I am loved . I knew from that night I had to change how I move , think, and view things , I had to speak up for myself and the things I need and want in my life . slowly but ,surely things started changing. I made new friendships with the most motivating , sweetest, goal driven , talented ,encouraging, funniest, and exciting people I know. I loss family members due to unexpected deaths but! It only made me get closer to family that’s still here .
